From tap at Church Key. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malt and light caramelish. Bitter, roasted malt and caramelish flavoured. I’m not getting that much bacon from this - which is good. Vague metallic note. Ends dry, roasted and bitter. Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2012

Clear dark brown beer, massive cream coloured head. Unusual fruity nose - a little blackcurrant! Palate is light and airy with mild crispy carbonation. More fruits - slight Dr Pepper vibe, a little blackcurrant! Trace of bubblegum ester. Not much malt. Semi dry finish. Bacon? Maybe a trace of it in the aftertaste. Unusual and interesting beer.
On tap. Pours a clear orangey brown with a dense and creamy beige head with an excellent retention leaving a neat lacework. Sweet caramel and subdued roast in the nose. Medium body, again lots of sweet caramel and a little nutty. The finish is dry with subtle hops. Nice but absolutely nothing baconish here. 121211
