Can from Pacific Grove, CA Trader Joe’s. Amber pour. Aroma is sweet cooked sugar, almost molasses. Flavor is cloyingly sweet. Mouthfeel is syrupy. Unfortunately this is not too good. Theydon_Bois (20607) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2016
Can split at Hacobok Tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 24/11/16.
Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering.
Nose is sweet, ripe fruits, peach, tangy, caramel.
Taste comprises caramel, peach, light white pepper, bready notes, straw, fruit tang.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, light boost in the close.
Ok for style, good balance, not too sweet. The_Osprey (9120) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2016
November 2016 - Can share at CBC Islington. Thanks Dave! As ’Uncommon Brewers Long Form Tripple’. Pours a pretty clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is sweetcorn and banana bread up front, bit buttery, toffee, pastries, sugary, fudge. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is sugary and sweet, Belgian candi sugar. Toffee, fudge and rich sugars with a spicy finish. Does exactly what you expect Belgian beers to do - smash you round the face with sugar. I don’t hold that against it. Can at Craft Islington Share - cheers! It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, candy, banana split, sugary stuff, apple and pear drops. The taste is crisp initially, then soft, sweet, sugary, candy, banana, some alcohol warmth, wood and green grassy notes. The finish is dry and woody. Medium - full body and moderate carbonation. Sweet and hot. Not quite what I am looking for...

Can, dark gold with a fast-settling head, sweet malty nose with hints of pear drops and pine. Tangy and alcoholic, dry-sweet and warming, honeyed and peppery, with a herby bitterness. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 31, 2015
