375ml bottle I picked up in Madison pours a hazy gold with lots of frothy, foamy white head. Nose has lemon, straw, white grape, lime, some candy, some stale malt. Flavor has a big white grape juice thing, lemon juice, some white pepper, straw, some light chardonnay barrel, hints of corn. Slick finish with a touch of booze. 16.9oz bottle poured into a belgian tulip glass. The aroma is tart citrus, and pineapple up front, but then some banana and soda water emerge as the former fades. With time, mild caramel, light pine, and lemon move to the front, and it eventually settles into pineapple, orange, pear, and a hint of grass. It pours a lightly hazy gold color with a light, foamy, white head that’s unstable, but still keeps a moderate retention, and leaves a mild lace. The taste is a medium sweet front cut by a medium high bitter finish. The slick and thin textured beer has a foamy carbonation. The medium full body holds bittersweet citrus notes with compliments of pine and banana. The finish is clean with fresh pine, resin, and a waxy citrus that turns to bitter wood near the end of the bottle. The aftertaste is mild and clean with clove and banana notes. Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. White golden with a big white head. A sweet tart fruity nose. Lots of malt here and gentle fruit. Citrus and nice cabinet spices. Some tropical fruit. This is a tasty beer.

On tap @ DryHop. Pours a hazy yellow gold. Big frothy white head leaves plenty of lacing throughout. Aroma is yeasty, with tropical fruit and citrus notes. Taste follows, with coriander spice, orange, pineapple and bananas making there presence. ABV is well hidden for 9.1%. Medium/full body with a good bit of carbonation and a slightly dry finish. A very nicely hopped up Belgian. Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 19, 2014
This is a belgium style beer I really love. Nice apricot grapefruit undertones with a simple hop and malt punch. Really smooth for as much alcohol is in this beer. Pours reddish yellow with a thin white head. Had at dryhop

Effervescent golden pour with a huge thick pillowy white head with lots of sticky lacing. First aroma was a hint of fruity hops (mmm simcoe) then some more earthy esters and a hint of candied sugar some belgian saison like notes in there and a hint of alcoholic warmth. Well coated clean palate, some good carbonation... almost a bit over carbonated. The fruity hop notes come through quite a bit with definate pineapple and some nice warm alcohol notes in the swallow. Some sweet grain element that I can’t quite pick out and finishes with a light bitterness. Quite good. BLADT (701) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Bottle pour. Matte peach color with a white head. Pretty. Dry hoping present on nose. Light pineapple. White bread. Lots going on. Belgium year pulls the taste sweeter. Bready too. Orange and pineapple mix in. Note of word on finish. A tad flat. Maltser85 (363) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Hazy golden copper pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is juicy with big orange, slight grapefruit, and pineapple. Big bready, doughy notes as well, along with a slight musty funk. Nice carbonation up front, juicy grapefruit and orange with a mellow pineapple. Rolls into sweet doughy biscuit notes. Finish is crisp and citrus with a warming after the fact to remind you its 9.1%. Body is medium full. This one delivers. Super clean, solid beer.
