Drinkable weissbier. Strong and distinctive aroma - floral, banana. Golden hazy appearance but not a strong head. Balanced taste - sweet over bitter. Overall good BeardedAvenger (835) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2016
Bottle at home, after a day spent chopping down bushes, which may effect my scoring! 04/06/16. I am going with qppearance first and it’s a lovely bright hazy gold. White but light head. An aroma of foilage - grass and leaves. A lot lighter than you’d often expect in terms of flavour and palate - an initial sweet taste like bananas, followed by a sour kick. Relatively thin but with a fizzy edge. The_Osprey (8197) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2016
Bottle share at Leighton’s - thanks to Fergus. As ’Unertl Oberland Export Weissbier’, 5.2%. Hazy opaque orange, lightly sparkling, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty, sweetcorn, white chocolate. Body is light, tingly carbonation, a bit foamy. Taste is more typical of a weiss - straw, clove and banana ester, light metallic finish. It grew on me quite a lot.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2016 Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours clear orange - amber with a medium white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, grainy, bready, mild smoked cheese, orange muffin, bread and soft orange. The taste is crisp, bitter sweet, very bready, cereal, sugary, alcohol and cracker with a sweet, dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. A touch sweet for my liking. Fair.
