Great weissbier that stands apart from the rest. Brown, very dark in the glass, nice head. Very roasty and distinctivly malty aroma, accompanied by lots of cloves and citrus notes. Refreshing taste, malty and quite sour for my taste. Wonderful malty finish. Not the perfect beer, but a very unique, dark and well-made weissbier.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2017 Bottle (flip-top). Hazy copper brown colour with a large, a little off-white head, nose is yeasty, a bit roasty and sweet with notes of banana and spices, taste is slightly more phenolic with a minimal acidity, a creamy mouthfeel and a mild finish. A very well rounded weizen.

Bottle 50cl, an amber beer with medium creamy head. Nose is on grapefruit. Aroma is malty, wheat notes, still grapefruit and ripped banana notes, good body. This should be under dunkelweizen. Finish on caramel and spices, marzipan.

Brown with little white head. Aroma is some banana, chalk, clove, lots of yeasts, little alcohol. Taste is a little chalk, lots of yeasts and alcoholic bitterness. Not full body. Thin and a little sparkly rough on the tongue. Ok, but not great.

Bottle. Copper/brown with a tinge of Orange. Muddy. Looks like a dirty Dunkelweizen. Great head. Aroma of bananas and yeast. Taste is bananas, citrus fruits, yeast. A little spicyness. Not as thick and heavy as some other Hefeweizen. Delicious and sessionable. Good one.

[backlog] 07-09-15 / bottle at home. Nice weizen. Good yeast strains, some banana, dried fruit, well carbonated. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.75/5
