Bottle 750ml. @ home.
[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, vintage, light white nuts, moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, alcohol, fruit, dried light fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
22 fl oz bottle, thanks to MaxxDaddy. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light orange fruity and oxidised. Oxidised flavour. Mild sweetness and light yeasty note. Wineous. Ends slight dusty and oxidised, but also with a mild spice no. Over the hill but nice to try. Ungstrup (37885) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2009
Bottled. Thanks MaxxDaddy for bringing this to Denmark and sharing. An unclear golden beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit - especially oranges and pineapples. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of fruit - again primarily oranges and pineapples, but also notes of alcohol, leading to a dry and slightly wheaty finish. Bottle courtesy of ryan, thank you sir! Bright golden color, white edge head, good lacing. Aroma of birch, pears, white pepper. Taste is very smooth, medium body, apple skins. Interesting. omhper (25250) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 4, 2002
Deep golden, hazy. Rich, flavourful, spicy. Full bodied but easy drinkable.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Maxxdaddy. Slightly hazy golden with a creamy, white head leaving some lacework. Soft aroma of fruit and yeast. Solid body with rich fruity accents and some yeast. Lightly oxidized, but actually the oxidization just rounds the beer off in a pleasant way. Very subdued bitterness. 220308 fiulijn (20604) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 3, 2002
Pale colour, thick head. Spicy aroma, similar to wheat ales. Smooth taste, surprising for not evidentiating the high alcohol content; full mouth, enouth sweet and malty. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2005
Golden, with a quite lasting white head. Yeasty, grassy aroma with some grapefruit, maybe some other fruits, and with sourish notes. Yeasty hoppy flavor, I guess my expectations were a little too high for this one. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 2, 2001
Pale tan, hazy, good head; slightly orangey, wheaty, yeasty, almost peachy nose; creamy body; sweet bready malts, mandarin oranges, yeast in the palate; finish is yeasty, slightly alcoholic and lightly peppery. Similar to a few of their other pale beers, but very tasty. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 1, 2011
A: The pour is a very light straw color with a minimal white head capping it.
S: The nose has a strong white wine aroma to it. You could also pick out some similarities to mead. Overall, it’s just really sweet. A fair amount of alcohol along with some cork and cardboard oxidation.
T: Intensely sweet with more of that white wine and mead-like character. A pretty large yeast note and plenty of cardboard to it as well.
M: The body is medium with a low to medium level of carbonation.
D: Not surprisingly, this one is well on the way downhill. Not really worth drinking at this point.
