Bouteille 341ml, no BB. Note de champ de fleurs - pâquerettes.

Light bodied fruity-tropical Belgian-inspired Belgian ale with some artificial-smelling herbal adjuncts that sit to forward, making it resemble witbier more than saison... cardamom, coriander, cumin(?), pithy lemon and orange. In the mouth it's sugary and fruity with somewhat coarse carbonation, finishing with notes of pear juice, white grape, herbs.

It pours golden yellow with a white head. Head retention is fairly good. There are aromas of lemons and spices. There are some grassy elements along with the lemons. There are other fresh citrus notes in the background and low grain notes. There are flavor of lemon and coriander. In addition there are some citrus elements and low background grain notes. There spices are prominent in the aftertaste. It has a moderate feel with a dry finish. Overall, a refreshing saison with quite flavorful spices and a distinctive lemon taste.

11/19/2016 -- from notes: 12oz bottle, from Dutch's. Hazy golden orange color. Bigger airy white head. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, moderate to stronger carbonation. Light dry finish. Good floral, spicy peppery hop aroma. Basic malt. A little bit of citrus. Moderate-plus bitter taste, light sweet, more dry. Kind of tangy. Solid dry-hopped saison. Nice to enjoy with my fried egg.

341ml bottle @ Christmas market, Annecy. Pours a hazed blonde, good white head. Strong floral, wit-like aromatics, soft spice. Taste similarly floral with prominent saison / wit yeast, soft spice with a good sweetness. Pretty decent for the style. Now to dig out my Youthanasia CD.
