Slightly hazy golden blonde coloured body with a rather thick, five centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, light malts, wheat, coriander seed, citrus and a dash of pure apples and pears noticeable at the end. Light-bodied; Very watery flavour at first with some fruits noticeable early on, that fade immediately to grasses, lemons and hay with no body at all and no depth in flavours or texture. Aftertaste shows the dryness at first with some yeast noticeable along with coriander seed, but not much else, aside from carbonation and a touch of sweetness at the end from some fruits. Overall, a pretty mellow beer all around, with no complexity, no real flavours at all from any sides of the equation and only some dry, grassy flavours that go with the lightness and a hint of fruitiness to even realise this is a beer. Decent at best, but only because it's so mellow and 'barely-there' that it's hard to say it's not good. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2016 for US$2,69 sampled almost exactly a year later on 15-November-2017 at home in Washington.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Birthday gift from a co-worker, thanks Rico! Slightly hazy golden yellowish orange with off-white head. Aromas of herb, spice, yeast, citrus peel. Tastes of floral notes, herb, spice, yeast, light funk, some citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with a small, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of pale malt, tropical fruit, yeast, lemon and coriander. Sweet flavour of pale malt, tropical fruit, lemon rind, yeast, coriander and pepper with a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. A solid saison.

My last Unibroue from all the ones I aaas able to scavenge this Summer. A nice idea, a 'light' belgian beer, but missing a bit of taste for me.

Hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma has that familiar Unibroue yeast character...orange and spice notes, with some floral hops notes as well. The flavor adds some noticeable fruit notes reminiscent of peach and maybe tangerine? Fairly dry and pretty well balanced.

Pale yellow pour with a thick white head. The aroma has a lot of citrus and lemon zest. There’s a soft spiciness and a little bit of floral hoppiness. Has a touch of pear and some light apple as well. Fresh and tasty.

DATE: October 22, 2017... OCCASION: an unseasonably warm weekend calls for a refresher... GLASSWARE: La Fin du Monde snifter... pours a sediment-rich opaque dirty golden body that supports a three-finger mountain of thick, white snow...almost a picture worthy of appreciating... pepper, banana, tea leaf, rye dough, light earthiness, and enough citrus to suggest lemon... first sip is dry, earthy, a bit chewy... creamy through the mouth, and a soft finish--easily drinkable... lemon, tea leaf, light flowery hints, butter, mint (?), and mowed hay--all a part of the farmhouse milieu... the hops, however, make for a dynamic not attributable to other saisons... at 4.5%, one of the few from this brewery that plays at its actual weight... not as hard-hitting, aggressive, or fast as Megadeth's music, this beer is a pleasant, harmonious sipper that reflects the band's more melodic side...and another Unibroue offering that satisfies...
