Bottle, thanks to beastie, poured into my fancy new tilquin glass. Cloudy golden orange with thick creamy head. Its got that nice light witty pepper thing. Light and approachable, crackery, light-mid sweetness with pleasant short, lightly bitter peppery finish. Lively carbonation. Overall: I ought to drink more wits - this is nice.

Pours hazy straw gold with a tight, 1-finger white head. Aroma of lemon mixed with earthy yeast. Maybe some spice and fruit esters. Medium body, a touch syrupy. Dry finish with a touch of astringency. Flavor is of lemon, maybe some grass beneath. Some earthy yeast as it warms.

Cest frais, grandement buvable, tranquille, rafrachissant.

Pours cloudy golden yellow, lacey foam - looks the part of a witbier. Scent of clove, banana, bubblegum, lemon; noticeable caramel on the nose as well. Taste is spicy, citrusy and yeasty. Slightly more assertive on the malt flavours than a typical wheat. My only substantial qualm is a noticeable soda-water impression that mutes the more savoury characteristics. Even so, this is quite good.

Poured a lightly hazy golden yellow with a 2" foamy white head that went down to just a film in a few minutes. There was a good amount of carbonation bubbles rising up in the glass. The aroma was light with pine, citrus & floral notes. The beer itself had great carbonation and a light biscuit flavor and a bit of lemony citrus. In general it was very mild in both aroma and flavor. Simple clean and refreshing with the carbonation from the bottle finishing

This is an Excellent Belgium Style Wit Bier. There is a slight bit of malt up front, balanced by a crisp lightly hopped wheaty-finish, and slight notes of citrus. The bottle fermentation process results in very fine and perfect carbonation! This Belgium style beer pairs well with brie cheese, tart salads, hot weather, and even spicy food.

Pretty darn tart/bitter/sour for a witbier. I prefer the sweeter, yeastier, fuller types w minimal hop-like spiciness in the mouth for more of a drinking beer than a sipper. Nonetheless, it was decent.

12oz bottle. 12/11/17 best by date. Appearance: Light golden and clear (I poured the yeast in at the end), with a thick white head that lingers nicely. Aroma: Light Belgian yeast esters of pear/ banana, with a light wheat in the background. Taste: Light, wheat and creamy maltiness, with some fruity pear and citrus peel. Spicy coriander combines with a moderate to high hop bitterness for the style. Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy body for the style with a distinct creaminess and moderate carbonation. Also pick up some alcohol warmth. Finish: Fruity esters linger here, both pear and banana. Overall: A decent Witbier. Nice pear and banana esters and flavor throughout. Lower on coriander and citrus peel character for the style. Body has a nice creaminess and crisp carbonation.
