Dacrza (980) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2013
DATE TASTED: October 19, 2013 ... GLASSWARE: Blanche de Chambly flute... OCCASION: trying to liquidate the summer stash before the fall season is unmistakable... APPEARANCE: faint, tepid hay-tinted body with champagne bubble and pencil-thin off-white head; no lacing... AROMA: beautiful wheat/clove connection reminiscent of summer; light banana dough and vanilla cream are latent scents... PALATE: fizzy, active and light-bodied; drinkable and refreshing...TASTE: lightly affected, acidic wheat that maintains its nasal promise--a spiced, seasoned flavor...OVERALL: What doesn’t Unibroue produce that doesn’t sing or sparkle? The "lightweight" of the case that nonetheless packs a pleasurable experience, crisp and aromatic ...

Bottle from Wegmans. Aroma of apples and spice, some hay. Probably my least favorite Unibroue offering.

rollinsr (748) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JUL 16, 2017
Pours gold and slightly hazy with no head. Aroma is sour with notes of fermented apples. Flavor is light and warm with sweet fruit yeast notes and spiced cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A large creamy white head over a cloudy light golden nectar, aromas of orange citrus and coriander and a light toffee malt, full bodied sweet and refreshing Witbier beefed up with some spice, very enjoyable.

shawnmurphy (495) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - JUL 10, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours hazy yellow with quarter-inch white soap-bubble head and lacing; lots of carbonation. Aroma: lemon, honey, dough, barnyard. Flavor: all the above, with noticeable yeasty-ness. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied.

Jabic (590) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Ar: Lemon, bubblegum, cotton candy, and doughy malt; lighter notes of black pepper, clove, and peach. Ap: Cloudy gold; medium white head with good retention, leaving a solid disc of foam. T: Lots of peach; black pepper and apricot; low sweetness; bitterness is fairly low, quite herbal; citrus peel, mostly lemon and lime; full bready maltiness, quite soft and doughy; finish is bitters, clove, and peach skin. P: Medium body with high carbonation; quite lush and full in the mouth, silky almost; finish is dry. O: World-class Belgian-style witbier; one of my long-time favorites, and I’m glad that I finally got around to sitting down an rating it; fresh malt, crisp, refined esters, and spice all combine wonderfully to produce a stellar beer!

ladnewton (1964) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2017
Bottle at Brit & Chips, Montreal on 4th July 2017. Pours hazy amber with lasting white foam and lacing. Citric hops and spices in aroma. Classic Weißbier blend in-mouth, pungent yeasts, lemony citric hops and a spicy note. All three flavour foci continue through the finish. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

bottle. shared with friends. Believe i’d had before, but a pleasant beer to drink

beer-yum (1714) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 7, 2017
Restrained floral aroma in a straw pour. Laid back hop forward balance with a light spicy banana bread body before a watery finish.

MissAnthropic (68) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 5, 2017
Hazy almost coppery gold. Smells like air heavy with flowers, with someone baking bread in the distance. Palate is a little clingy for the lightness of its taste, gentle cooked citrus and jasmine on the edges.

dukeandduke (264) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2017
5/31/16 (Chicago, IL). 12 oz bottle poured into Weizen glass. Clear yellow pour, minimal head and carbonation. Wheat, orange and banana aroma. Taste consistent with aroma, somewhat sour taste. Very clear, minimal texture or mouth feel, like water going down. Overall good offering.
