Drank on ice. Aroma: cherry, saucy and cinamon. Appearance: light red with a small head. Flavour: sweet cinammon and cherry,. balanced nicel y that it hides the alcohol content. Palate: thin and gently carbonated. vyvvy (6468) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUN 1, 2007
Big kudos to radiomdg for this sending this unique brew my way. Pours crimson red with a small pinkish head. The aroma has LOTS of cherries with some sweetness and peppery spice. Medium / thin body with some biting carbonation with a finish that is crisp, yet somehow cloying from all the sweetness. the flavor starts with lots of sweetened cherries, some cough syrup aspects and minimal spice. The finish is much sweeter with more spice. An okay fruit beer, but I expected a bit more from Unibroue. beanmedic (347) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2007

Bottle: Fiery pink hue, light pinkish head, foamy, sparce lacing, moderate carbonation.   WOW, rich aroma of cherries, oak, licorice, and a huge amount of Red Zinger tea.   It also somewhat reminds me of mulled spiced wine.   Big sweet Red Zinger tea on the tongue.   The cherries are there, but seem secondary to the spices.   This one is very flavorful.   Clean, sweet fruity tea oriented finish.   This reminded me more of Quelque Chose than anything else.   I wished more were like this one.   Moderate to full body, moderate mouthfeel.   This one was very tasty, and I would love to have more of this on hand.   Thanks Jeremy for the bottle! [bottle] Woody, cherry candy aroma-- kind of harsh. Pours a very pinkish red color, with visible swirls of syrup in the body. Flavors are similar to grenadine in a way, syrupy and dense, very medicinal. Alcohol is hardly noticable under all the sweetness. Slightly earthy finish. Overall, an odd brew from Unibroue, but it still remains drinkable (with the addition of a few ice cubes). I can’t believe I drank this whole bottle.

Wow. I was hoping for something in the same vein as Quelque Chose, but instead I’m handed a drink that makes me think Unibroue is chasing down the wine cooler market. Stew41 (2025) - Phuket, THAILAND - JAN 15, 2007
Pretty handy fruit based beer. Light cherry in colour with a slight brown tinge. Thin head with very thick lacing. Expressive cherry filled bouquet, a touch sweet, some chalky / musk like notes, quite appealing but perhaps a fraction simple. Soft sweet palate, more cherry to the fore, but the flavours tighten and get a little bitter to finish. If this is purely fruit driven and not aided with syrup then the flavour concentration is impressive. TaktikMTL (7798) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 4, 2006

Not sure about the economics of aging in Belgium and shipping back to Quebec. I’ve had Quelque Chose heated, cold and over ice so trying this over a few cubes is not entirely against the grain. I should have poured carefully, I got more strawberry milkshake foam than beer. Strong tart cheery aroma. Probably should be enjoyed on a patio in warmer weather. A beer somehwere in between Huyge’s soda pop beers and the lovely Quelque Chose. Thanks to Poperinge.
