Solid light red colour. Nothing in a head, and true cherry aroma. I was expecting some bad soda pop but instead got true cherry flavour, a bit overcarbonated, but very quaffable. A thirst quencher. Average on mouthfeel, not too thin a body. not too sweet. For people not onto regular beer. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 18, 2006
Bright red color. Aroma of cherries, cherry kernels and mint. Robust body, some sweetness, some (syrup?) fruitness, but at the end is quite good. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2006
(Bottle 34,1 cl) Clear, ruby red with a neat, small and pinkish head. Fruity nose with a whiff of alcohol. Full-bodied with some cherry sweetness, but nowhere near what you’d find in a Belgian style sweetened Kriek. I believe I detect some odd accents of fennel! Rather unusual but quite interesting fruit beer. Thanks Siroy. 120206 Ungstrup (37284) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2006
[Served with an ice cube] A burgundy red beer with only a rim of head along the side of the glass. The aroma is sweet with light notes of alcohol - reminisent of cherry. The flavor is sweet and rather spicy - I pick up mainly cloves - but also slightly acidic. A fine fruit beer. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 13, 2006
341 ml bottle. Thin pink head over a clear bright ruby red beer. Sweet cherry aroma. Fairly rich smelling, some warm spices (allspice, cardamom, clove) with a touch of vanilla adding complexity. Very Quelque Chose-esque, but a bit less spicy. Low carbonation and sweet but not candyish aroma. Flavour is slightly less appealing than the aroma. A bit of lingering sweetness, sugary. Nice complex dark cherry flavour, but I’d prefer this a bit dryer. Sort of cherry brandy-like aroma. Lingering sweetness. Cherry pits feature into the flavour with some warm fruitness, but again this subtlety is clobbered by the sugary sweetness. As the temperature comes up a bit, the spices are diminished leaving a sweet cherry candy flavour. Body is sweet and sticky, but not full. Some herbal, slightly medicinal notes. A good, if slightly flawed brew, but I’m still left comparing it to Quelque Chose, where it doesn’t fare well.

Clear red coloured with a light red head.
Sweet aroma of cherries with notes of spices and light acidic notes.
Sweet flavour of cherries with notes of wood and spices. CapFlu (5126) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 30, 2006
(Bottle) Purchased at Marché Jovi on January 27, 2006. Pours nearly no head initially then a medium white head rests atop the reddish body after a dozen seconds of settling. The nose is very cherry and sweet. The flavour is somewhat tart with a black licorice flavour. Overall I like this beer with the exception of the black licorice. Bottle. Limpid ruby/cherry red body with a fair pink bubbly head. Pleasant cherry nose with cinnamon hints. Good fruity and refreshing taste, but it lacks complexity and the sourness I always expect from a good fruit beer. Hides the alcohol pretty well. Ends with a short and moderately sour finish. Enjoyable thirstquencher for people who doesn’t like beer. destroye7 (312) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 14, 2006
Bottle. Clear red liquid (liquid cherry juice). Low carbonation. Head was gone after 15 seconds. Stong cherry aroma. Taste like juice. Not too sweet. Better than "Quelque chose" from Unibroue also but missing a beer taste and carbonation. Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2006
Bottle, Cheers to Mds for sharing. Blood red, no head. Smells like a mild cherry cough syrup - artificial all the way. Sweet cherry taste, but thin and syrupy. Tastes like a cherry coke or something. Uninspiring to say the least, I had a perfect warm Quelque Chose later in the night and needless to say, there was no comparison.
