COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Chambly Noire is a smooth and creamy dark beer with a beige and persistent head. Its torrefaction aromas and slight bitterness enable it to perfectly accompany various fish dishes, strong cheeses and chocolate desserts.

A dark ale with a frothy abundant head although that was ephemeral. Some malty caramel aroma. Taste was a mild malty bitterness, fine tho some might look for more presence.

Black with rimming tan head; Aroma is grainy with yeasty notes; flava is part roasty part tart subtle wood and cherry notes hints of cigar; feels light with lively fizz; finishes dry roasty and mildly tart

Opaque dark brown, almost black color, with strong activity. Creamy and foamy sparkly light brown 3 finger island head, lasting around 20 minutes, with strong legs. Pleasant floral and fruity nose. Flavors of toffee, grains, apricot, banana, coriander, clove, floral and herbal spices. Strong caramel and fruity sweetness creating a toasty and bread feel. Milky light body with prickly carbonation. Faint and short finish, ending with a fruity and herbal spicy thick tongue feel. A little vinous and flat. Overall a good craft with decent flavors, a fresh smell, and a superb look. A little stale and flat. Unbalanced being overly sweet with a weird rotten banana feel.

On tap at Pizza Paradiso- Dupont Circle. Treading the fine line between a black IPA and a dark saison. More tart than roasty, yeasty, smooth and slick. A real gender bender.

Poured from a tap. Dark brown color, medium off white head. Sour wheat aroma. Light body with a medium tart wheat and clove flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jet black, thin short lived white head , subtle aroma licorice, roast, cola. Flavor light aromatic spiciness unibroue classic gingerbread flavors. Not enough malt complexity for the style. Just drink a maudite or trois pistoles instead.

Bottle. Aroma of wheat and malt. Pours black with off-white head. Taste is medium bitter. Has a light to medium body, a thin texture that I was not expecting, and lively carbonation. Seems quite light for such a dark beer, but nice and refreshing.

Pours very dark brown, with a light coffee/chocolate taste. A little fruity, it is actually a quite accessible brew. That ubiquitous Unibroue yeast is present here, as well. Not as complex or as bold as Unibroues other offerings, but gratifying nevertheless! 6.2 ABV, tastes like 4.5.

Dark brown pour with burgundy highlights under a lingering khaki head. Nose is caramel and plenty of dark fruit, light cloves, some banana and bread. Lightly sweet with some prune fruitiness and a light spice component and some tartness. Mouth is medium- with slightly soft carbonation. Very balanced but not exciting.
