Poured a pretty huge foamy and creamy head. Has a nice yellowish pale appearance, sort of like a mango juice like look. Very strong citrus flavours and aromas all around. At this point, Unibroue brews are becoming strangely familiar but amazing beers nonetheless. 9%?! Canít really tell, itís well hidden. DrNosha (2287) - WŁrttemberg, Germany, GERMANY - APR 6, 2016

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2017 Amazing citrusy aroma, great blonde caramel colour, not a very big foamy head but it tastes amazing. Honey, cereals and tart oranges. First time but definitely will buy more. BroadestTom (446) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 29, 2016

Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma has wheat and Belgian yeast esters. Taste is sweet and yeasty with wheat and lemon notes. Medium body with high effervescence. Not bad but itís really not my style of beer. TET (2994) - Kaarina, FINLAND - MAR 13, 2016
A murky, golden beer, a head is white and big. Aromatic nose. Aroma has citrusfruits, flowers, spicyness and some perfume. Taste has fruitness, some bananas and citrusfruits, spicyness. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Aromatic and enjoyable beer. nuplastikk (6224) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 2, 2016
12oz bottle. One of those rates that make me realize how many beers Iíve had in the past that were never logged. What a beer. Still holds up. Really captures some Belgian sensibilities. Unfiltered orange body. Big, steady off-white head. Thick yeasty mouthfeel, creamy. Deep fruity pungent yeast flavors. A fantastic Belgian Golden Ale. Lots of depth. World Class. migwell (365) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 2, 2016
UPDATED: APR 4, 2016 Someday, Iím going to sit down with a variety of íBelgian Strong Alesí in front of me and make some choices. Taken one at a time over a long period, itís difficult to differentiate, at least for someone whose palate, sense of smell and photographic memory are all questionable. Needless to say, the salient point of this brew is yeastiness. It is a tripel wit or weisse rather than a predominately barley based ale, thus the noticeably thinner malt profile, allowing the yeast to have its way. Iím always happy to have a high ABV brew that hides the alcohol as successfully as this one does. Thereís some spiciness and fruit flavors, as always subtle, a la European, rather than the standard over the top, in your face American style. Still I am underwhelmed, probably because Iím a Eurocentric beer drinker and cannot yet regard any New World production to be the equal of brews perfected over hundreds of years. Thus the necessity of a blind taste test. This is a very drinkable ale, certainly well crafted and possessing no drawbacks, nevertheless Iíll stick to the real thing rather than the homage until demonstrated otherwise. RE- REVIEW: Thanks to a long running Special at Popís Package Store (as we style a liquor store here in the Bay State), Iíve had the opportunity to come to appreciate the Unibroue products for over a month now... and the more I drink íem, the more I appreciate íem. OK, Iím a Eurocentric traditionalist, but these brews are quite superb. Clean, fresh wheat beers that are strong without seeming so... just delicious! At the sale price-point, I do not think there are many brews available of this fine quality. (see Zywiec Porter). HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - FEB 28, 2016
