Unclear medium orange colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, peppermint - minty, light oxidide. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120128]

A hazy amber beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet spicy, with ginger standing out. The flavor is sweet with very powerful notes of ginger, but also with notes of yeast and alcohol.

Bottled. Golden colour, lots of particles. White mediumsized head. Aroma is very spicy, vanillaish and some berries. Flavour gets pretty much the same stuff out of it, along with quite much honey and some nuts. Wellbalanced.

Bottled. Dark amber. Aroma of cinnamon, coriander and honey. Sweet and sugary, full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Notes of almond. Salty finish. Typical Unibroue.

(Bottle 34,1 cl) Hazy, dark golden beer with a handsome, creamy head leaving some pretty laces. Slightly herbal aroma. Sweetish and malty with spicy, almost herbal notes - ginger? Very subdued bitterness. 021005

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 19, 2004
Cloudy light amber color; big creamy head. The aroma has a strong herbal touch (heather, mint…), with some malt and hop; magnesia. Good malty body, but not too sweet, again with an evident herbal note, and light liquorice at the end; too high carbonation and a bit too alcoholic. Good, but I don’t appreciate too much this herbal character.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with medium duration. Color is hazy amber. Aroma and taste are peppermint, fruits, caramel, malt and hops.
