Fruity, berry aroma over a thin, white head. Cloudy, amber colour. Very sweet strong blackcurrant flavour. Smooth and drinkable with a touch of acidity. TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 30, 2004
Cherry, bubble gum aroma. Pours a dirty brown, thin white head. Bubble gum, candy flavours, with astringence. Sweet aftertaste. Not much malt. Not really my bag. It's too sweet; its a problem trying to drink more than a glass. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 11, 2004
Cloudy red-purple tinted beer with a light pink head. Huge aroma of cassis, sweet with very few other aromas detectable. Flavour is also very fruity, cassis and some wheat. Beer is very sweet but still has a crisp and spicy finish. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2004
More full bodied than some of the other ephemeres - only slightly acidic, nicely sweet, funkier than all of the other ephemeres, for sure! muzzlehatch (4963) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 29, 2004
Bottle. Lovely current-cherry aroma; sweet; creamy head, orange-pink coloration. Unfortunately, fairly bland on the tongue -- lightly sweet, a bit acidic, but really not a lot there. I mean, it's very quaffable and friendly, but not something I'll go back to soon, just not enough "there" there.

Soft light body. Fruity element is well pronounced .Use of berry does interesting side effect. Soft light tartness and berry flavour reminds me of black tea effect. Nice. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 19, 2004
Orange-blond with a fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity with black currants and berries. The yeast, spice and malt are vague in the background to the wonderful fruit flavour. Huge black currant and berry taste. Not too sweet, though. Very light and drinkable. Probably my second favourite ephemere behind the cranberry. Bov (12888) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2004
reddish-amber colour with a fine creamy head, moderate blackcurrant aroma, notes of haye, medium-bodied, touch of acidity before a dry black currant finish - sober and much better than the last version wnp22 (698) - Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2004
Tasted in Toronto from C'est What. Tatsed on tap. Tasted in a pint glass. Relatively deep amber colour, slight wispy white head. Aroma is of apricots and sweet fruit.Taste is less sweet and slightly refreshing. WABeerChick (25) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 16, 2004
Great color - orange/red. The aroma is great, too -- pretty huge for the flavor. I like the flavor but a you can't drink too mucha of it.
