An unclear orange beer with a small fast disappearing white head. The aroma is artificial with notes of cranberries and cherries. The flavor is of berries both cranberries and cherries a little like chewinggum. The end is dry hoppy and kind of powdery and the body is thin. fiulijn (20938) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2003
Blond-golden color. Fresh aroma, some sourness (vinegar), spices. In the flavor, some citrus fruits, some sourness. Refreshing, not impressive. mcberko (18390) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2014
On tap at Portside, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Nose brings out lots of wheat and cranberries. Flavour is identical, with lots of faded cranberries atop a wheat, citrusy body. Decent stuff, like all the Ephemere beers, just nothing special. Oakes (18167) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2001
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2003 Tan, cloudy w/pillowy white head. Cranberry aroma with vague bread, wood and hop...in other words, you know there's beer underthere somewhere. Mostly cranberry on the the palate, as the malt and hops both sit back and chill out. The yeast, as in all Ephemeres, is still very much a factor. Refreshing and fruity with an off-dry finish and less tartness than the others in this series. bhensonb (15489) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 11, 2009
Seems to be back. Got my c&c 750 from Liquid Solutions this week. Pours hazy gold with a three finger bubbly, fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat with cranberry notes. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is ... starts rather wheat, but cranberry overcomes it. The cranberry isn’t strong, but neither was the wheat. Very refreshing. I could just slosh this right down. Winter ale? I’d take it to the beach. Finish is arguably balanced. It’s not dry, and it’s not overly bitter. Most all impressions are indeed ephemeral. I’m enjoying the heck out of it. Especially since I thought I’d never have a chance to drink it. I’d do it again.

Tap sample. Poured hazy amber with an average frothy white head that was fully lasting and produced fair lacing. Medium fruit aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Sweet fruit flavor with a light fruit sweet finish of average duration. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 20, 2003
Cloudy peach body, full white head. Aroma is sweet, cranberry, peach. Medium sweet flavor, fairly weak cranberry, sodaish. Hint of tartness. Body is light and watery, highly carbonated, fairly crisp. Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2004
Hazy blonde with a fresh cranberry and strawbeery aroma. Fresh wheat with cranberries, slighlty tart, light bodied, refreshing. 1 year old. Nov. 2004. Drake (14033) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 29, 2008
750 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse. Oddball bottle... maybe they cleaned out the store room? Best before 9/28/07. And I bought it exactly one year later. How weird is that? Pours a pinkish yellow with a medium head. Low retention and poor lacing. Big cranberry in the aroma with bubblegum, raspberry, wheat and citrus notes. Wheat takes more of a role in the taste, but tart cranberry notes are still fairly strong. Medium bodied with very active carbonation. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 19, 2005
(750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy pink body (similar to pink grapefruit juice; unique indeed) with a large frothy white head. Aroma of musitness, florals, and hint of cranberries. Flavor of wheat (strong), spicy yeast, cloves, and mild cranberries.
