peach spritzer aroma with a little sourness behind it. A hazed orange-yellow color with a solid white halo of froth. Chewy peach, lots of spritz, some sweetness behind it all. The peach produces somewhat of a phlemgy finish with a strange lingering aftertaste...maybe its the combo of the yeast and fruit...the yeastiness seems to bend the peach flavors to different dimentions...seriously though, for a peach flavored beer, it aint too shabby.

Bottle. Golden yellow/orange colour. Slight candy peach aroma. Crisp mouthfeel, more candy and peach in taste with little balance. Still, a drinkable fruit beer, but well below this brewery’s standards.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2004 Great big off-white head. Good carbonation. Distinct peach aroma with some yeast and wheat. Color is a hazy light yellow. Flavor is dry with a bit of peach, plenty of fizz and a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Finish is dry and tart. Not one of the better ephemeres. Thanks to radiomgb for this one.

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 19, 2004
Disappearing head, hazy yellow body. Sweet and somewhat artificial peachy and dusty aroma. Also artificial peach in the flavor. Dry end. Just as uninteresting as the other Éphémères.....

An unclear yellow beer with a fast disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet yeasty with notes of citrus and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, citrus, and hints of peach. The carbonation runs prickling over the tongue. And the end is hoppy.

Bottled: Light yellow coloured. Hazy. Off white small head. Fruity (obvious isn’t it) aroma. Peach very very dominant in the aroma and the flavour. Too much for my likings, and it totally disturbs the other flavours in the beer. Not good.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2004
Hazy yellow coloured. Aroma of artificial peach and yeast. Very weak flavour with sweet and sour notes of artificial peaches..

bottled: this one is for the ladies...had the apple ephemere a few weeks ago, popped this one open a couple of days ago. very similiar but with peach. way too much peach. like a sparkling wine with peaches. not much beer character at all. spritzy, snappy and dry..they should sell this in the juice isle.

BorealeBoy (11) - Omaha, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 1, 2004
Tastes very peachy. I thought this was cool until I realized I was drinking a beer. Good as a carbonated peach drink but not the coolest beer. Pretty cool concept though, just ease up on the peach powder.

nickchalk (229) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2004
Beige colour, kind of hazy, but interesting I guess. Lots of peaches in the aroma and taste, a little too artificial smelling for me, and too strong in the flavour, not leaving much room in way of a beer. That being said, it’s actually sort of tasty. Medium carbonation. Not bad. Bottle.
