Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of white pepper, coriander, citrus fruits, yeast, straw, toffee, and some diactyl. Taste of more coriander and pepper, some citrus fruits, butterscotch, and Belgian yeast. Nicely carbonated. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 8, 2006
Bottle thanks to Turg! Pours transparent orange/yellow with a fizzy, but short lived white fizz. Traces of lacing. Bready/dough aroma with signature unibroue yeast and spicy floral notes. Tastes almost sweetly floral, very yeasty and zesty with corriander and lemon rind. Unique. FInishes a little too quick for my liking, but pleasant nonetheless. Thanks Francois!
Pours a very hazy pale gold with an enormous, dense and rocky cream colored head. Very lacy. Smells spicy and peppery. Clove and hints of apple and banana.
Tastes of sweet malt. Banana, clove and pepper all blended together. Lightly lemony. Creamy and lightly sticky. A remarkably clean finish for the style. Smooth, creamy, refreshing and very drinkable. Solid and tasty.

Bottle at Yes, Libramont. Golden colour with a big white head. some particles floating around in the beer. spicy and fruity aroma with a good dose of coriander, I suspect. Complex fruity flavours with spices. Sweet, but still well-balanced. Fizzy with medium body. Refreshing, yet complex. Very pleasant.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy yellow with a large diminishing white head. Aroma has that signature Unibroue yeast smell along with some spices and fruit. Flavour’s nice and spicy, like a pleasant easy-drinking Belgian Ale. This is quite enjoyable, a Unibroue session Ale. HogTownHarry (7064) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - MAR 30, 2006
Bottle (341ml). Shared with blankboy, my bottle via trade with turg. Poured very cloudy orange with a large foamy-fizzy head made up of tiny little white bubbles. Yeasty, sharply spicy aroma (a bit like a slightly scorched Belgian wit), with some tangy citrus competing with mild lightly roasty malt. Flavour is sweet and juicy, there’s a surprising amount of caramel-y light roast malt here, fruity (no banana!) and the spice and yeast are softer than the aroma suggests - it’s quite sweet, defnitely a Belgian style, definitely has the Unibroue yeast. Mouthfeel was spicy, sryupy and lightly carbonated - overall very pleasant, quite sweet - I couldn’t drink it in quantity, but I liked it. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2006
Hazy pale orange beer with a white head. Malty and sweet aroma with a faint touch of soap. Malty and sweet flavor with a light fruityness and a spicy finish. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JAN 30, 2006
Milky yellow colored with a white head. Candied wheat aroma, sweet and pretty full with creamy notes. Flavor is bready and candied, rather sweet and somewhat cloying. Not very good. anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2006
Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. A little spicy aroma and also hints of yeast. Sweet malty yeasty flavor. A little spicy and sweet aftertaste.
