Hazy honey gold hue, with a soft white head, yeasty, citrus hops, fruity, pale malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, good acidity, fruity, citusy flavors, sweet alcoholic note, green apple touch, leading to a soft dry hops finish. Cloudy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of banana and some biscuty/bready notes. Flavor is mildly fruity, light yeast, again some doughy notes. Medium bodied, somewhat dry. Not bad, but there are certainly far better Unibroues out there. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2005
Bottled. Very fruity like all Unibroue beers with apple, peach and apricot. Cloudy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, citric, fruity (again apple, peach and apricot), light yeasty. Light warming, smooth. Very well balanced, very flavorfull. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 26, 2005
Hazy blonde/amber, light head, some lacing. Nose of yeast, light humid malt and some spices. The flavor is lightly acidic and tart, creamy and balanced but thin and belgian with light funk. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 14, 2005
(341ml bottle) Very cloudy golden body with a small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, apple juice, orange. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, apple juice, bread, orange. Light-medium body with a light stickiness.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2007 strikes me as close to la fin du monde, but a lighter version. unibroue is getting a little repetitive here, but its still great beer. mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 17, 2005
bottle. Metro Joanette. hazy golden body with a short lasting medium white head. aroma is predominately yeast with notes of pears, musty hops, and lively carbonation. this is a rather bland belgian style ale and disappointingly so for Unibroue. flavour is simple and yeasty without anything interesting coming through the highly carbonated body. very dry. it’s ok I guess. Clowdy yellow with a good sized head, that went away qucik enough. Palate is a bit on the crisp side, but the flavor is tastey malt and citrus. A quality beer, but not up to my familiar Unibroue par. Oh yeah, thanks to Boutip for the bottle. pootzboy (1761) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - APR 1, 2005
Bottle from Jeannette metro. Poured a hazey straw color ...lots of big bubbles...natural carbonation....frothy head and good lace. Nose is of cloves over sweet caramel. Taste profile is so close to a heffeweiss Its hard to tell the difference except this brew has a more malt ponounced backbone and some apricot/pear cider tones to itin the finish and a warming feel from the 7% ABV...a nice lighter drink from Unibroue...I like this where I’m not too crazy about some of the heavier Uni ales, this one is tastey and light bodied enough to drink 3 of so.

Thanks to tiggmtl for this. Pours turbid straw with 2-finger creamy white head. Aroma of Brett, hopcit, malt. Tastes hopcity, with some malt honey elements and a slight chardonnay taste. The palate is light, but it seems to "lift" itself off the palate and almost dissipate on the way down (which is good). Not terribly complex, but nicely balanced, and it gets more complex as it warms.
