Nice lasting creamy white head over a pale golden cloudy body. Balanced fruity/spicy aroma. Flavor is very sweet and hides the alcohol pretty well. The final is smooth and disappointing for that type of beer. Far from being the best from Unibroue, but it is still fair. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 27, 2003
Lasting, slightly lumpy, head. Orange-straw colour. Enticing sweet and yeasty aroma. Perhaps not a typical Belgian ale but a refreshing lightly spiced summer ale. Better than a macro off the shelf. Sligtly sour finish. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 17, 2003
Hazy golden color, beautiful creamy head. Malty aroma, spicy; light sweet orange and tangerine; somehow more round than other Unibroue's examples. Unfortunately the body is really poor; dry and lightly tart in the beginning; the final as well is too simple. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - NOV 22, 2003
Cloudy dark straw colored; virtually no head; apple nose. NOt a whole lot to this one. Rather boring actually. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2003
Very clear yellowish color with a small white head. Bland lemon aroma. Watery and yeasty body. I am not a huge fan.

This brew has a surprisingly, very, very pale yellow body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly fruity and grainy with a slight maltiness and a sour note. The flavor is slight fruity (apples) with a slight sweetness. There really isn't a whole lot of flavor here. Smooth and light bodied. SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 12, 2003
Yellow and hazy with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Flavor is mild, sweet malts, spice and light fruitiness. Light body and creamy. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 12, 2003
cloudy pale orange colour, the initial head is reducing quickly leaving just few foam, pear and bread aroma, notes of grapefruit, lot of carbonation, moderate bitterness in a dry bready, malty and fruity finish - the little brother of la Fringante (same recipe with less alcohol ?) This is a clear yellow beer with a Very mild flavor. Nothing in it stands out particularly. Nothing bad, nothing great DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 9, 2003
