Slightly citrusy , yeasty aroma . Still decent yet this product of Unibroue it is approaching levels of standard mass marketed product. One of the weakest offerings of Unibroue. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2003
Hazy golden-orange colour with big white head. Slightly soapy aroma of citrus, peaches, spice and yeast. Flavour has more of the Unibroue yeast along with citrus, coriander, and fruity malt. Good carbonation and crisp finish. As others have noted, it's a decent beer, but is in many ways a typical Unibroue offering. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 18, 2003
Light hazy copper in colour. Aroma of citrus, oranges, Unibroue yeast. Flavour was fairly light and smooth with some yeast and citrus. Finishes creamy with a medium bitterness. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2003
it's a quality blonde, but it's a little lacking in character and it's nothing unibroue hasn't done before. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 16, 2003
Pours a pale golden with good carbonation and a lightly lacing head. Aroma of bready Belgian yeast (what else did you expect from Unibroue). Body is semi-sweet and caramely with a dry finish and warming notes. Hides it's alcohol pretty well, but is thin and has little complexity of flavor.

Good belgian (almost witbier) ale from Unibroue. Very nice white golden color brew. Yes, I think everybody recognized in this beer a little of some of other Unibroue beers (i.e. 1837, Blanche de Chambly...). Even though, this is still a great beer with a generous head when pourred. The taste of coriander and spice is perfectly measured. I love this even though I had a hard time finding it in a Metro store. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 16, 2003
Weird marketing approach (we never hear of it) Extremely yeasty nose of peaches. The taste of coriander is obvious as well as lemon and peaches and spices. Okay beer, as others pointed out it seems very inspired from earlier products which, in my opinion, were better. I think I had it a little too warm, but still, it makes me wish Unibroue would try more dark products like La Terrible. CapFlu (5129) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2003
(Bottle) Cloudy, orange-amber body with a full, foamy, white head. Banana aroma with slight spice. Much like 1837 but much less complex. Great value from this Metro product but far weaker attempt from the North American belgian-style ale professionals. SimonPatrice (312) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 1, 2003
Hazy pale peach body, big light head which gets bigger just by standing there. Banana, coriander and wheat aroma. Citrus flavor mixed with bubblegum and coriander, slight acidity. As Martin said, good but nothing extraordinary. MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 20, 2003
Witbier-like banana and coriander aromas develop into a very yeasty orange zestfest...Eau Bénite? Kamouraska? 1837? Déjà vu!...A good Belgian ale again from Unibroue, but nothing we haven't had before...
