Definitely a session beer. I was beginning to despair that Unibroue would have a proletarian beer suitable for prolonged and frequent drinking, but this subtly flavourful, lager-bodied beer with a nice malt twinge in the aftertaste fits the bill perfectly. I knocked one of these back on the balcony of the Best Western in Hull, Quebec while visiting Parliament in Ottawa. Went down smooth, slight aftertaste with a bitter finish(in a good way, though). Quite good. I would buy it again. raindog (560) - Evansville, Indiana, USA - MAR 16, 2004
Lively, golden, beer. Frothy, white, head. Good pils aroma, floral, malty, slightly yeasty. Fizzy, well carbonated, good body. Flavor is malty, but not enough, with slight yeast flavors. Long hoppy, malty finish. As it loses carbonation, the malt is much more evident, and tasty. Lots of floral hops, with lingering malt. Pretty tasty pilsener,IMO. Clear light gold color that holds up a nice fine white head. Good Saaz aroma. Nice hoppy bitterness males this decent Pils. spaque99 (8) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 27, 2002 does not count
The beer I buy to drink when I eat, not for a degustation. Very good........

I really enjoyed this one. Nice copper colour. Has a fine head to it with some orange flavours to it. Daytona00 (165) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 2, 2004
Bottle. Golden color. Pleasant fruity aroma with a generous head. Sweet taste. A different but good Unibroue product. Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 17, 2001
copper colour, fine head, subtile peach and orange aroma, some acidity, nice body, long bitter and slightly spicy aftertaste - makes me much more impression than the first time I tasted it WillyTheFrog99 (31) - Durham, New Hampshire, USA - APR 1, 2002
Canada gets it right again... why can't American mass-produced beers be more like this one? I mean, come on Anheuser, take notes here. A very tasty brew, with an attractive copper color and that cute stubby bottle. Excellent offering from the ones who know how to mass-produce. Bulldog99 (13) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 24, 2002
Not a typical Unibroue beer. Nice golden color and acceptable head retension for this style of beer. There is pronounced aftertaste with a bitter finish and I like the old 'stubby' style bottle.
