UPDATED: OCT 11, 2005 If this is the end of the world as we know it, I feel fine. This is a spectacular Belgian tripel of depth and character. Pours a muddy gold with a towering head. Glorious aroma shows curacao, grape juice, toffee, ginger and all-spice. It’s one of those wonderfully complex aromas that rewards each sniff with something new. Full-bodied and beautifully rounded. On the tongue it shows orange peel, honey, cloves and zesty hops - spice is the dominant theme. The 9% alcohol comes through in the swallow but carries it off better than most beers of this abv. A dry musky finish. (341ml bottle) gearbike (512) - West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA - APR 20, 2005
The commercial description of exquisitely robust flavor of exceptional refinement"fits perfect. I could not sum up my impressions better than this. A lights hint of orange and banna. KarmanGhia (276) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 19, 2005
This beer has an amazing pour with a huge, nice frothy head and a misty yellow. The nose is peppery and sweet. The bubbles are pleasantly violent in the glass. The tastes are of alcohol, banana/pepper, and perhaps yeast. The mouthfeel is warm and thick and this is a very good beer. Duke (117) - New York, USA - APR 16, 2005
Hazy but very light blonde with a foamy white head. Yeast alcohol and some fruit in the aroma. Low alcohol flavor fruity orange, good balance. Not my favorite style but a good beer.

A great surprise when visiting Quebec. I spotted it and asked for one with out knowing what it was, Great color, depth of taste...Can taste like alcohol if it hits you just right, but overall a great ale! Tmoney99 (14460) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2005
Bottle. Dark amber color with medium head. Complex aroma of yeast, hops and spice. Smooth body with long finish. Flavor same complex mix as aroma. Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - APR 10, 2005

Medium but fine carbonation with a spicy aroma. Tastes like malt and spice with a hint of alcohol in the finish, maybe some hints of honey??. Overall appareance golden, with lively notes. Although it feels strong, i could hardly notice the 9% graduation. A nice brew, more like a liquor than an ale, definetly not a session beer and not one to drive afterwards =) paul9639 (116) - New Hampshire, USA - APR 7, 2005
Loved this beer. Aroma was spicey(nutmeg?)but not overpowering. Thin head upon pour. Thick wheat flavor, with a hint of fermented grapes. Bought at Harrington’s in Chelmsford, MA A.K.A. the beer meca braudimusprime (75) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 3, 2005
UPDATED: APR 10, 2005 Pretty nice tripel. Lively carbonation with a spicy aroma. Tastes like malt and spice with a hint of alcohol in the finish. The spice probably overextends itself a bit, which is the only thing keeping this from matching belgian tripels for taste.
