UPDATED: JAN 26, 2006 12oz - Sweet aroma that likes to linger in my nose makes the taste last longer. Bright hazy gold with medium head (wrong glass again I think). Lacing hangs around after each drink. Taste is sweet and fruity that masks the ABV exteremly well. Very smooth drinkable tripple. 12/08/04 3.4=5,3,7,4,15

Sweet aroma of candi sugar, yeast, vanilla, and coriander. A bueatiful pour produces a solid white head thay stays for a long time leaving tons of lacing on it’s departure. Cloudy yellow/orange color with champange like bubbles. The taste is also sweet with same flavors as aroma plus some citrus undertones. Very smooth with a tart aftertaste. Much better now that my palate is more mature.
Hazy dark gold with a big fluffy white head. Sweet candi sugar nose. The outstanding flavors are pepper, cloves, banana and citrus, though I can also taste vanilla. Finish has a hop kick and a mild alcohol burn. Nice trippel. chandernagor (39) - Oak Park, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2004
Golden cloudy with a white head dissipating quickly leaving chunks of foam floating around. Aroma is quite hoppy, yeasty and fruity with hints of spices and flowers. Flavor is much sweeter than the aroma made me expect. Starts sweet and fruity with some yeast tartness, spices (pepper and cloves) and a dry slightly bitter hoppy finish. Very well balanced. Nice warming sensation. Would definitely get some more. vikingman69 (12) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 27, 2004
One of my most favorite beer. A must for those who like triples. Avery drinkable beer for the ABV. kbjames (244) - Utah, USA - NOV 25, 2004
This is an interesting beer that pours out a hazy yellow. The ABV is very surprising for the color. Decent flavor with lots of spices and citrus to it. An ok beer, just not one of my more favorite styles.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber with lots of bead and a rocky white head. Distinctive and complex aroma of star anise, wheat, citrus, and some vinous sherry notes as it develops in the glass. Caramelised sugars and sweet spices dominate the flavour. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ripe pears, and citrussy notes back this up. Really fills and lingers in the mouth. Nice easy but complex bittnerness. Very nice indeed. Ramenen (466) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - NOV 24, 2004
Powerful at the beginning, but you can taste the citrus flavors. Medium head. It finishes clean kwoeltje (2234) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - NOV 20, 2004
(bottle) Pale slightly cloudy orange-gold. Yeasty floral aroma. Flavor is yeast, citrus, and mild spices. I’m not a huge fan of Belgian styles, but this was nice. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - NOV 17, 2004
Bottle poured a cloudy yellow orange with a good head to start but it fadded fast.
Flavor is bitter with hints of spice and fruit.
This beer wasnt bad but taste was to much like a wheat beer and I cant stand wheat beer. BierBauch (784) - Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2004
Cloudy golden with a hint of orange. Large snow white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma is spicy with pepper, clove, citrus and yeast. Body is light and airy yet with a sharp carbonation. Excellent mouthfeel. Flavor is also quite nice. Sweet, fruity, spicy, yeasty, citrusy. Finishes dry. Really nice Tripel!
