Very good beer altogether! This was a very good belgian, nice boquet and slightly citrusy.

pobenohne (504) - Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2003 Very drinkable with an incredible bouquet. weak head with trace of lace . Great hoppy-spice bite in the aftertaste, but is it the yeast, a hop or an additive? Go for the bouquet and the rest is sure to please. Crisp, dry and tangy

3.4
elnadeau (786) - Laguna Niguel, California, USA - NOV 25, 2003
A nice tripel, not spectacular but very good. Sweet candy spiced, medium body, yeasty oily and quite drinkable for the strength. A tinge of musty flavor in the finish holds the score down for me.

4.4
ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - NOV 11, 2003
Bottle: Cloudy yellow, heavy body with a strong and well balanced alcohol level. Slightly sweet and with caramel tones; one great beer.

3.6
VAYankee (353) - Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2003
Light cloudy yellow coloring with frothy white head. Very sweet, spicy aroma. Tastes spicy and moderately sweet, with a just bit of yeast and mild presence of alcohol. Finishes with a slightly dry, slightly acidic fruit.

3.7
ToadMan (559) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 31, 2003
Hazy golden color, lots of head and lace. Spicy and hopy aroma. Flavor is reminiscent of Hoegarden, moderatly sweet, clovy spicieness, hints of vanilla, alcohol presence, appley and slightly dry in the finish.

3.4
SETANTA (582) - Bangor, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2003
Very large and frothy head, nice golden clouded color. Flavor is initially sweet then a bit of spice. A decent Belgain Strong

very light straw colored and hazy. spicy nose, no unpleasant yeastiness, a little on the sweet side with the old Topps bubblegum note chiming in

auto (163) - California, USA - OCT 29, 2003
its a murky orange/yellow color...colour...white..a white head of a fairly white head. citrusy light tangy scent..tangy kind of taste but very pleasant

4.3
skortila (5905) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2003
Malty, cheesy and spicy aroma. Cloudy, yellow/orange coloured with a large head. This tripel is less sweet than the 'Eau Benite' and more spicy. A bit sweet and very spicy taste quite cheesy. Very full taste. Alcohol is well masked. Smooth palate. Lovely brew.
