12 oz. bottle. Served in a tulip glass. Pours a pale golden color with a thick white head. Highly carbonated. Slightly musty aroma with forward nose of orange peel and cloves. Flavor is spice, spice, and more spice—primarily, cloves. Did I mention cloves? Not my favorite of Unibroue’s offerings, but I can see how lovers of Saison would find La Fin Du Monde exemplary.
750mL bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold color with a thick, yet quick white head that settles to the surface and lingers. Aroma is mostly yeast. Medium body. Pours dark amber with major head. Aroma is light toffee with some major spice elements. Taste starts out sweet with caramel and a little cinnamon. Warms to a very different flavor, heavy nutmeg with banana. Finish is unmistakable Belgian yeast. Had with abby for my birthday while grilling burgers.
Pours from a bomber. Hazy gold with a thick foamy white head.
Nose is big begian yeast with cloves and banana esters. Slightly peppery. Powerful and delicious smell.
Taste is heavy on the yeasty character - especially clove and banana. Quite sweet with almost no bitterness.
Palate has a huge sticky mouthfeel. You can really chew on this but it goes down smooth for 9%. Finish is rather short.
Overall, this is the most exoensive beer I've personally bought and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Arguably my favorite of any style. For me, this one lives up to its name as "The End of the World" for beer.

341ml bottle @ Christmas market, Annecy. Pours a misty gold, large white head. Aroma has pleasantly sweet tripel-like esters. Taste has a moderate sweetness, light spice, familiar tripel yeast. Lower tripel carbonation presents more drinkability compared to a standard Belgian tripel. Yeah, it's decent.

Une belle bière blonde, avec une grosse carbonatation, et une petite effervescence. Au nez, la levure belge classique de unibroue, avec ses accents sucrés et également plutôt sur les épices. En bouche, les levures belges sont tout aussi présentes, avec toutefois une bonne présence d’agrumes avec les tangerines en avant plan, donnant une triple fort sucrée au goût. One of my favorites. It's almost like having two different beers. The first pour is clean and smooth, not bad, but not great. When you get a chance to swirl the bottle and pour the remainder in, the complexity, body, flavor. etc. sky rockets. Nice body and very little alcohol taste. Bottle in Seattle. Finally rating a classic that I've had many times, but not recently. Thick white foam, tall and gushing at first. Needs a careful pour. Esters on nose, with light spice. Light touch on palate for the style and weight. A fair amount of citrus acidity. Not as fully satisfying as a true Belgian tripel but this is nice, well constructed and tasty. Great.
