Bottle from Broue Ha Ha. Pours a clear yellow with a good amount white foamy head that dissipates slowly and lots of active carbonation. Smell is fairly sweet, with caramel, but has some hoppy floral hints as well that make a somewhat apple smell. Palate is medium bodied with a whole lot of carbonation. Taste is sweet at first but then gets balanced by some good bitterness while still leaving the sweetness on top. Aftertaste is somewhat sweet and somewhat bitter. Very good! Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a hazy straw color with a white head of foam. Aroma has a nice citric acidity lightly in the background behind its peppery forefront. Taste is a nice Belgian sugary pep and a touch of fruity acidity in the finish. Pretty nice beer. esjaygee (3906) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 9, 2013
I’ve had this twice and rated it neither time. The first time I knew I had another bottle and the second time I assumed I rated it the first time. It’s a Unibroue and I remember it fitting that bill to a “T”. Nothing exiting with their yeast up front, prominent and over-powering as usual. While it wasn’t bad, it felt and tasted like almost every-other Unibroue with minor tweaks. lesifflebiere (1928) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 30, 2013
Thought this was a really good belgian golden. Well balanced, slightly fruity, good champagne yeast, dry finish. Another hit from unibroue.

Summary: My last rating of the year, so Happy New Year everyone! And for 2012, puts me at 486 ratings. Enjoyed another one from Unibroue, I need to try more of their beers in the new year.
Pours a clear gold with the barest of heads. Highly bubbly. Smells of white grape, earthy, nuts. Taste is sweet and spicy, hint of bitterness - vanilla, oak, grape. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated like a champagne. pushkinwow (2895) - Ottawa, CANADA - NOV 11, 2012
750ml bottle. Clear pale gold with a faint white head. Nothing too special but then again its still tasty. Typical Unibroue yeast, mild hops with a bit of citrus, wheat, pepper. Moderate body and carbonation, somewhat sweet, like the finish with a bit of dryness. Ontbeertaster (3208) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2012
Bottle, pours a blonde, aroma is spicey, flavour is nice and spicy as well, also quite floral, overall a tasty brew AlainG (2361) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 1, 2012
