3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into chalice.
Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow, with a one finger fluffy white head and lots of effervescence.
Nose is yeasty and peppery, banana, with some sweet tropical fruit hiding underneath.
Taste has quite a bit of bubble gum and banana in the yeasty front end, with a nice, restrained, lightly sweet pale malt body. Finish is light and dry, very clean. Little in the way of hop presence or complexity. Nice, drinkable, and hides the abv masterfully, but not overly memorable either. On the other hand, the weather has been hinting at spring lately, and this is certainly a springtime beer.
Mouthfeel is light, soft but spritzy carbonation. A strong point.
Backlog, bottle from Canals. Pours a golden brown with large head and good lace. Aroma and flavor are apples, fig, wood, pear, plum, and grass. some spices as it warms up. Medium to fuller body. Another nice belgian from Unibroue thorongil2 (3566) - , Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2016

This beer smells godlike. Apple, white wine smell with a hint of fruits. The taste is pure and fresh. Notes of herbs with a dry finish of Lee. Cheers and enjoy! Beardbeerman (343) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015
Pours a hazy dark toned straw topped a vivid fizzy white head showing minimal retention, low lacing capacities and lively carbonation. The nose is yeasty and fruity, apricot perhaps or muskmelon, and some weak grassy hops on the back. Pretty fluid mouthfeel, one of the rare light body brews from Unibroue, it comes through mostly fruity with some bready malts and faint grassy notes from the hops. Good but not great. Cheers! merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - FEB 1, 2014

Rated on 7-26-2009 (Corked & caged bottle) This beer pours a large frothy, very very fizzy white head which mostly diminishes, hazy body, very little lacing, fizzy, and fast rising carbonation. The Aroma is malty, wheat, yeast, sweet, fruity, spicy, and coriander. The Taste is sweet, fruity, coriander, malty, wheat, yeasty, and spicy. This beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this beer hits the spot so to say, somewhat of a thirst quencher and a beer I would consider drinking again. magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Bottle from App Vintner - while it’s big and very oaky, it’s a bit boring. Meh? rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2013
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Not bad, but nothing special. Unibroue can do better. Sweet and bready, moderately yeasty. aumax1 (314) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 4, 2013
750ml bière avec goût fruité, mais pas trop persistant ni trop agressant. Mousse bien généreuse. Peu d’arrière goût et d’amertume, à réessayer rejtable (2888) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 2, 2013
Nice enough but a bit unremarkable for me. Pours slightly cloudy dark straw with no head or lacing. Nose is fruity, maybe apricot with a hint of dough. Notes of apricot, some cereal some light grassy hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Lightish body with lively carbonation. Nicely balanced and very drinkable.
