Pours a hazy deep copper topped a roughly structured tanned head showing nice retention and lacing properties. Carbonation is moderate. The nose is surprising. Caramel/toffee paired with clovy and spicy features with a certain fruity and earthy aspects from Unibroueís signature yeasts. The taste brings the elements in the nose through a medium body and a light finish. Overall pertty good so if get a chance to spot give it a try. The beer pours a slightly hazed brownish=-red coloiur with a generous rocky tan coloured head. Aroma is yeast, dark fruits, caramel, and spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt, fruity, and yeast. A very good beer.
Dark flavor smell...plum...but off ...taste is of plum..too sweet...nothing beside sweetness...meh GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - NOV 7, 2014
750ml cork/caged bottle -
This one didnít take much time at all for the cork to blow off my bottle, so it must have been building up some serious pressure for it to blow like that. The aroma is pretty much spot on for all of Unibroueís belgian beers, apple juice/cider, caramel chews, all-spice, plummy..love it. Flavor is really strong with an earthy note that I get from Trois Pistoles, huge notes of dark fruit, light toffee, brandy, with a light chocolate/vanilla like finish. Really nice and Iím glad I let this one sit for awhile. Raesmama (23) - - MAY 29, 2014
This is a really unique, slightly sour beer. I like it a lot. Great with cheese!

Bottle shard with friends. Nose is light Belgian yeast, citrus, tons of toffee and caramel. Pour is cloudy, murky, brown. Flavor is sweet toffee and caramel with a hint of fruitiness. Very nice and different from the typical Unibroue. AgentAle (1726) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 16, 2014
Aroma has some floral notes and some spiciness. Some alcohol smells and fruitiness can be detected aswell. The taste is very sweet with a bitterness on the end. Some sweet belgian sugar notes are here too. The appearance is a cloudy yellow/gold with a nice lace head . Frothmeister (792) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 8, 2014
750ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy honey colour with a two finger creme coloured head. From the nose, it is indeed a Unibroue product. The Unibroue yeast is up front with light strawberry jam notes, dark bread, citrus, and spice. Taste is sweet with mineral notes, light raspberry jam, spice, and dark bread up front that leads into some alcohol burn, dark rye crisps, and light sponge toffee in a mineral heavy, bread crust-like bitter finish. Itís tasty stuff, but itís a little too sweet. Small complaint though. More great stuff from Unibroue. crazy_cat_lady (543) - - FEB 4, 2014
February 1, 2014. 750mL bottle from LCBO. Characteristic Unibroue aroma and flavour. Biscuits, bit of citrus, touch of caramel. Lovely brown colour with white head that dissipated quickly. Pretty good. Not my favourite from Unibroue. patricks110 (2492) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 2, 2014
A beautiful hazy orange and golden body with a fizzy off white head. The nose is citrusy and estery with light notes of banana, cloves and apples. Mild toasted malts with a light crisp mouthfeel. The finish is moderate and a bit bland with a tad of Belgian flavour. Overall, a good brew but a bit bland.
