Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Very effervescent. Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla. Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours. Clearly the best.

3oz sampler from the Loose Moose in Toronto. Hints of floral and citrus. Reminds me of the dieu du ciel rose dhibiscus.

It pours hazy dark rust coloured; the head is bone coloured and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: cloves, citrus-zest, coriander, pepper, and yeast funk. The taste is medium sour/tart/sweet that finishes medium bitter/astringent; there are notes of: orange-zest, coriander, cloves, pepper, and slight grassy hop tones. The palate is full-bodied, has a huge creamy mouth-feel (heavy carbonation), and a long spicy finish. Overall, quite good.

Cloudy orange-amber with appreciable carbonation, beige frothy head with no retention. Mild earthy citrus hops, nutty, subtly toasty malts in a musty cloud of pine to the nose. Flavour is fully complex with sweet hints of vanilla, cedar, pear and citrus. Dry yet malty finish. Very lively in mouth from the carbonation. Alcohol present but well balanced with flavours.

Cloudy amber sort of colour with an almost white head that leaves a solid layer of lace. A lot of spice and yeast on the nose with some latent fruit notes. Different on the palate; caramel and cinnamon with some other spice and a light cooked citrus fruit note. Finishes a little warm.

Wonderfully floral French Canadian beer. Beautifully balanced flavours with a mildly bitter finish. A must try for beer lovers.
