Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Very effervescent. Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla. Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours. Clearly the best.

Light orange in colour with strong carbonation. Fantastic aromas of bready malts, pears, and spicy Belgian yeast. Both caramel and bready malts make an appearance in the mouth, along with more complex fruit flavors (apple, pear, peach, and orange). Some black pepper also becomes apparent near the finish, along with some drying earthy funk. Great stuff. Merci Lubiere!

Pours a brilliantly clear amber hued color (really the color of actual amber) and is topped by a three finger thick, tan colored head that is made up of large bubbles. The aroma is a mix of spicy yeast notes and a soft, slightly tart fruitiness. I can pick out aromatic notes, grains of paradise, a bit of ginger, dusty black-pepper, and earthy note reminiscent of damp slightly metallic loam, green apples, pear, a touch of woody mushroom (though only a touch). As I get used to it I get some richer fruit notes towards the end that remind me of raisins, prunes and even some notes of brown sugar and caramel. The aroma is actually quite fantastic, and even a bit intriguing.

The taste is quite a bit drier than I was expecting. The dryness accentuates the spicy character in the finish and brings out notes of ginger, a definite note of clove, perhaps something similar to ginger, and a musty almost cellar like note. The beer finishes with a bit of tartness that brings out the sour apple and pear notes. As the beer warms, a bit a soft sweetness begins to pick up that reminds me of brown sugar. This beer is quite light, and despite a bit of yeast-derived phenolics and astringency in the finish, is quite drinkable.

The taste does not quite live up to the aroma, but it is still quiet nice; and I like that the sweetness is predominantly held in check, which really lets the spicy notes to come through. This is really quite an enjoyable beer in the end. It does not quite live up to the level set by the opening notes in the aroma, but it is still quite nice in the end.

Orange colored, fluffy white head that dies quickly. Yeast, white pepper and lemon aroma with an infected tone. Malty, yeasty flavir, quite sharp and hayish. Fruity notes. Not very good and pretty thin too. Disappointing.

Big fluffy gold head. Golden color. Aroma of yeast and citrus + other fruits. Really sweet flavor for a strong beer, yeast is still really present, with some spices and light fruits notes. Small alcohol notes. Another great one from unibroue.

Hazy to cloudy dark amber liquid with a bubbly beige head. Quite sweet in aromas, with sweet citrus, light peach and a touch of light rum; with dry bread and yeast in the undertones. Yeasty scone flavors start from the top. the middle is lightly citric and the finish has a mild white pepper nip. Quite a bit of effervescence, but it is small bubbled and quite pleasant. Linger is also pleasant with plenty of malt and dried figs. A touch sweet at times, but a decent quaff for a slow evening.

A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and coriander. The flavor is very sweet with notes of yeast, spices, alcohol, and peach. An OK Belgian Ale without being something special.
