Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Very effervescent. Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla. Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours. Clearly the best.

Signature Unibroue yeast that is pleasant to the senses. Dirty orange brown appearance with a white head. Aromas of biscuit, strong vanilla, caramel, and some underlying fruitiness. Nice thickness and chewy on the palate. Not my favorite in the Unibroue line, but quite drinkable nonetheless.

Backlog, Bottle shared with PatrickFannon, Found these vintage treats at Canals in Mt Ephraim with dust on the bottle, few years old. Pours brown with a medium to large whitish head and impressive lacing. Aroma of toffee pudding, granny smith apples, figs, prune, plum, and ready malt. Medium to fuller bodied with average carb. A touch hot in the finish but not as bad as others from these guys. Solid belgian from Unibroue

Big fizzy quick dissipating faintly off white head Vegetable on the nose (slight creamed corn). Caramel, citric hops. Sweet. Hate the term "tangy" but it’s in there. Lots of sweet fruit sitting on a grainy backbone, that tastes like a scotch ale. Finish is light. It’s alright. Very very fizzy even with this cellared bottle.

750 ml bottle from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, citrus and dark fruit, dates, vanilla, mild spices and the usual Unibroue yeast.

Pours a hazy deep copper topped a roughly structured tanned head showing nice retention and lacing properties. Carbonation is moderate. The nose is surprising. Caramel/toffee paired with clovy and spicy features with a certain fruity and earthy aspects from Unibroue’s signature yeasts. The taste brings the elements in the nose through a medium body and a light finish. Overall pertty good so if get a chance to spot give it a try. Cheers!

The beer pours a slightly hazed brownish=-red coloiur with a generous rocky tan coloured head. Aroma is yeast, dark fruits, caramel, and spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt, fruity, and yeast. A very good beer.

750ml cork/caged bottle - This one didn’t take much time at all for the cork to blow off my bottle, so it must have been building up some serious pressure for it to blow like that. The aroma is pretty much spot on for all of Unibroue’s belgian beers, apple juice/cider, caramel chews, all-spice, plummy..love it. Flavor is really strong with an earthy note that I get from Trois Pistoles, huge notes of dark fruit, light toffee, brandy, with a light chocolate/vanilla like finish. Really nice and I’m glad I let this one sit for awhile.

This is a really unique, slightly sour beer. I like it a lot. Great with cheese!

Bottle shard with friends. Nose is light Belgian yeast, citrus, tons of toffee and caramel. Pour is cloudy, murky, brown. Flavor is sweet toffee and caramel with a hint of fruitiness. Very nice and different from the typical Unibroue.
