Beautiful orangey-amber colour, with a generous head. Very effervescent. Notes of citrus, spices, caramel in the nose. Very complex. Sometimes vanilla. Full bodied and complex, sweet, followed by and explosion of flavours. Clearly the best.

AleRider78 (1114) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017
In a mixer 12pack (3 bottles). Pours a large foamy head and leaves a thin layering. Has a cloudy amber appearance. Weak lacing. Has the Unibroue yeasty aromas with orange peel and spices. Flavours are strong spice and resin hops. Some malty thickness. Oranges and even mandarins come through. Also has the Belgian yeast taste. Warming sensation in the finish. Medium bodied. Tingling drying mouthfeel. Not bad, just a bit hard to differentiate some of the limited Unibroue beers.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange-amber with large foamy off-white head, earthy aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter spicy taste with earthy flavors, somewhat thick body, long bitter finish. Nice brew.

ljthiessen (1348) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 19, 2017
Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark amber pour with a pillowy off-white head. Aroma is similar to Maudite but a little lighter, some caramel, bread, a little doughy, classic Unibroue yeast. Taste is much the same, caramel and bread, some subtle spices and hints of citrus and other fruit. Little bitterness in the finish. Pretty nice, pretty classic Unibroue.

MissAnthropic (68) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 8, 2017
A slight hoppy iron nose, under heavy foam. Flavor is a creamy metal with a hints of bitter orange and salt. The palate is oily. I’m not in love with this but it’s a pleasant enough brew.

PictouRx (181) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2017
Pours hazy brown, with very fizzy carbonation. Aroma of nuts, vanilla, taste is spicy complex in nature, get even bubblegum hint. Its a thick texture with a bitter ending and lingering spicy notes. This is decent, I don’t think to go out of way to try again.

BrewWhatIWant (212) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2017
Pours copper colour with a big tan head. Aroma is nutty malt. Taste is slightly sweet, with a mild bitter finish. There are notes of candied walnuts, caramel, bananas, and earthy hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. I’ve had a number beers from unibroue, all of them good, but this is probably my favourite.

cattaneopapa (391) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2017
341ml bottle from the Beerstore. 7.5% alc./vol. Pours an opaque deep amber colour with a small lasting head. Lacing clinging to the side of the glass. I get a strong Belgian yeast aroma on the nose with notes of pears, banana, and toffee.Taste matches the aroma with caramel in the middle and finishes on a citrus hop note. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. This is another fantastic offering from Unibroue and if you ever find a bottle of it I think you should try it, The flavors mesh well together the aromas are nice and the carbonation is very strong yet creamy. I really enjoyed this.

Orange pour. But of a caramel aroma. Not much else going on. Taste is very complex. Some spices, banana, caramel, dark fruits and boozy flavors really make this an interesting beer

Backlog, Bottle shared with PatrickFannon, Found these vintage treats at Canals in Mt Ephraim with dust on the bottle, few years old. Pours brown with a medium to large whitish head and impressive lacing. Aroma of toffee pudding, granny smith apples, figs, prune, plum, and ready malt. Medium to fuller bodied with average carb. A touch hot in the finish but not as bad as others from these guys. Solid belgian from Unibroue
