Clear yellow beer with a nice head that vanishes quickly. Yeasty and malty aroma. The taste is not exceptional, but very refreshing. A good summer beer. Daytona00 (163) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 22, 2003
Beautiful color with a nice white head. Very refreshing taste and small enjoyable after taste. One of my favorite Unibroue product. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 8, 2003
Clear golden with a large pillowy white head. Sweet malty, almost fruity pils aroma with some mellow saaz hoppiness. Body is lightly sweet, but mostly bitter with a dry finish. Crisp and refreshing, but a standard pilsener nonetheless. I never would've guessed this was from Unibroue. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 16, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2003 Blonde beer with a good head that quits fast like most pils. Fresh cereals nose. Very refreshing taste. Very light, lemon notes. Not complex, but beside the sad lack of taste, I can't see any defaults, okay balance, but could use some mroe hops. austinpowers (2832) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 27, 2003
I only seem to be able to find this beer in Quebec, not surprisingly. Not all that pilsish. However, it had an adequate body and was mild. This appears to be Unibroue's attempt to fight off the American Standards.

So finally in Montreal I lay my hands on the pilsner from famous Unibroue. It was not clear to my why this beer was sold in clear bottles but soon I was to find out. Last night I had Sleeman Steam also sold in clear glass bottle? To my surprise (?) they both shared same skunky aroma that so many people love in Mr. H. Mr H. and milions buyers can not be wrong. The gold U labeled in the glass matched the gold brew. I must say in the summer this must be something. Small head but did not run away like some do. Taste of U was a level above of anything else U represented in other fields. Creamy, with medium body, not to thin as many pilsners tend to be. Got body and texture and that’s always good. What is missing is the hop bite that true pils got. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2003
Not that bad. Plae golden colour, nice fluffy white head. Aroma is a little skunky. This a decent refreashing pilsener. CapFlu (5129) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 29, 2002
A very refreshing pilsner; better than your regular commercial brands. Nice foamy white head and mellow flavour. Roli (405) - laval, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 28, 2002
A commercial attempt, sure, it is not the best Unibroue beer but we can't blame em, its just to make commercial beer drinker come to the compagnie and if thjey love this they may try some of their other beer.
Still a resfreshing beer. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2002
decent lager, I guess. bit of a disappointment from unibroue. I don't know what's with the clear skunkifying bottle, and why the hell is it filtered?! this is unibroue for crying out loud!
