Bottle... Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Sweet, honey-like aroma with just a whisper of lemon zest. Sweet, malty flavor is a marriage of honey, toffee and grapefruit rind. Barely bittered. Light-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Short, lightly sweet, strawy finish. Unibroue should stick to ales. However, to be fair, Pilseners just aren’t my thing. 11026 (1772) - Alabama, USA - JAN 8, 2005
Shared in celebration with qdog, Styles and Pailhead. Chris really enjoyed this specimen provided by DougShoemaker. I think that is enough name dropping for one rating. The beer is yellow and fizzy. Slightly skunky aroma. Thin bodied. I don’t know why this is in the Unibroue batting order. Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - JAN 6, 2005
Thanks Wohlfs? Skunk aroma. Taste better than it smells only because there is almost no flavor. Pailhead (6541) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 2, 2005
Bottle: Skunky Euro-lager aroma. Pale yellow with an insignificant white head. Very watered down flavor. Weak smell is actually stronger than the flavor. Light malt and hops in the finish and is very brief. Fizzy mouthfeel. Since there is no real skunk flavor, it’s slightly better than the Budweisers of the world qdog (201) - Cleveland, Mississippi, USA - JAN 2, 2005
Bottle, yellow with small head, good carbonation, smells skunky and tastes even skunkier, bitter finish. i prefer to never see this beer again.

Poured yellow and fizzy with a big white head...smel is much more skunky and perfumey than I think a Pils should be...taste is a little malty and a slightly skunky bitter finish... mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - NOV 23, 2004
Yellowy in colour with a sort of damp fruity nose. My girlfriend said it smelled like a skunk. Pretty straightforward lager with some fruity flavours, no real bitterness. Bland, but not bad. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 19, 2004
Golden colour with a tiny head. Aroma is slightly skunky and hoppy. Flavour is light with a little hops. Nice smoothness and bitter finish. A bsic beer. DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2004
Malty aroma, golden, pours a large white head. Malt flavour and a touch of hops too. Light bodied, smooth, nicely bitter. Fair. nickchalk (229) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2004
I can’t really say much about this, but I think I can excuse the Unibroue brewers. At least it’s a beer.
