Nothing spectacular. Aroma has caramel and honey. Taste is crisp, honey and caramel/toffee. Good beer for the everyday but doesn’t compare to their more exclusive brews. jredmond (8333) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 23, 2009
Had this awhile back in Montreal, and was really looking forward to trying it again to give a more appropriate rating. Unfortunately Ill never get that opportunity....ass. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2009
Bottle. Sold out JRedmond and cracked this open. Purchased at a convenient store in Montreal called Ramens or something. This was a standard lager..but some mettalicness. not good. Unibroues U series is a disgrace to all of Chambly! EnSiFeRuM (501) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 3, 2009
Bottle. Tinged gold. Thin head. Honey tinged scent, slightly metallic. Light flavour. A bit malty. Strong honey edge and finish. These U’s are more similar to macro brews than the typical Unibroue line. Understanding the price consciousness of the SAQ puts them in some perspective.

341 mL bottle. Honey brown in colour with a small head. Aroma is of wet straw and vegetable soup. Flavour is bizarre, especially considering who makes this beer. It is syrupy sweet, with a horrible, unappealing finish. Thin. Very heavily carbonated. Not good. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 18, 2007
Wow. Awesomely nasty, and the lack of carbonation really amplifies the nastiness. Aroma is surprinsingly astringent, like nail-polish remover mixed with paint thinner. Slight touch of honey is noticable in taste but this really is nothing short of disgusting. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 28, 2007
[170-20061231] 341mL. Honey grainy bread aroma with lightly rotten fish. Clear, honey-brown body with medium-sized bubbles and a quick disappearing creamy white head. Flavour is grainy beery bread with some honey, not very well blended. Light-medium body. Surprisingly pretty gross for Unibroue. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2007
Sample courtesy of Erin D! Thanks! An almost amber yellow fills the glass. White fizzy foam caps, and capsizes. Pretty standard aroma of an ontario "buck a beer" honey lager with all the corn and grains one could ask for. Fusels with honey-corn and cereal grains round out the flavour. Finishes quick and mercifully, thank god. The archetype for a new style of beer I call the Canadian Corn Lager. Sheeesh.
