Bottle "courtesy" of HogTownHarry. Golden yellow, small white head. Very grainy, industrial honey aroma. Light floral notes. Dilute grainy sweetness, very light honey and a strange washed out grainy flavour. Average to thin palate. Poor. Did not finish.
Deep golden pour with a thin white Aroma of honey and malt. Tastes sweet, slightly warery. I’m not a huge fan of this style but I enjoyed it. Roli (406) - laval, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 3, 2006
Golden color with a small white head. Its a well done honey lager, sweet and watery. I know unibroue could have done better, but you have to take it for what it is, I liked it! rederic (3344) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 17, 2006
Bright yellow honey gold color, with an off-white head, sweet toasted and pale malts nose, with an honeyish accent, faint graininess and cereals in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp toasted malt, sweet honeyish note, biscuity malt, of grenoble nuts, leading towards a malty, subtle bittering finish.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, biegaman, and GregClow, courtesy of Harry. Medium yellow, small white head (American Dark Lager???). Some pils like hops in aroma, but not much. Taste - yeck - sickly sweet, weird hops, honey. No, not honey! The curse of all mediocre beers. Thin and watery. Maybe the worst Unibroue product ever? Terrible stuff. blankboy (7833) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, biegaman & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Unibroue, why oh why? Pours a clear amber-gold with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy with some crappy fake honey. Boring grainy lager flavour with fake honey. Light bodied. Garbage. Shame on you Unibroue for even making this. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2006
Bottle shared with biegaman, blankboy, tupalev & HogTownHarry - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Light amber-gold with a wispy white head. Aroma of cheap stale honey spread on wet cardboard. Flavour of a cheap, grainy lager laced with cloying honey. Come on, Unibroue - WTF??? I would lay odds that this is just Sleeman Honey Brown in a different bottle. HogTownHarry (7077) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - OCT 17, 2006
Bottle (341ml). Shared with biegaman, blankboy, GregClow and tupalev, my bottle. Clear gold, small head. Stinky vegetal cheap-sweet smell, cheap honey, gah - ugly. Taste - cheap, grain/honey, not horrible at first, but as it warms almost as ugly as the taste - harsh, fake, loaded with adjuncts. Watery, flat, harsh aftertaste - god damn you sleemans. Bottle. Pours fizzy top, amber with gold accent below. Light hint of dry honey, more of grainy stuff found as well. Quiet carbonated and dry. Sweetness of honey can not save this one. Uneven and misled.
