Röstiger, recht süßer Beginn. Süffig, mittelstarke Bitternoten, zum Ende wässrig. In Ordnung. 10/8/9/8//8

On tap at the brewery. Nice tan head and glowing mahpgny colour. Caramel and molasses aroma. Bready flavours, slightly sweet, some caramel. Not bad. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2011
My Bottom Line :
crossovert (12920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2011
Earthy hops and toasted, caramelized malts roam within this Dunkel’s foamy, sugary mouthfeel.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A clinging sheet of foam decorates the coppery mahogany.
-Fruity edges add diversity.
-Malts seem to provide more sugar than actual malt flavors.
-The flavor profile is not really cohesive, but it remains flavorful throughout.
On tap at the brewery gasthof.
Smooth, tasty dunkel that packs a lot of malty flavor, more so than some of its counterparts making it a great easter-time beer. pivnizub (10615) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 13, 2010
Draught at the brewpub: Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, firm creamy off-white head; caramelly toasty nose with a subtle fruitiness underneat; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; chocolatey traces in the dryish bitter and dark-malty finish. Not too bad...... yespr (45442) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2010
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden dark brown with a small tan head. Roasted malt, breadish and mild caramelish aroma. Flavour has the same with a nice sweetness and good bitterness to match this. rubbishystuff (2538) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 19, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 At Unionsbräu in Munich. Does not have as pronounced a unique aroma as Unionsbräu’s Helles(actually a Kellerbier) or Maibock. A decent dunkel but not super exciting. A little thin in body and a little lighter in flavor than I would want. Still decent. Serving: Tap Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 19, 2009
Dark brown with nice thin head. Hints of diacetyl, toffee on the nose. Butter palate with some toast and light toffee. Still drinkable, but not by much.
