Herb-käsiger Beginn mit mittelstarker Hefigkeit. Das Bier beinhaltet einen unzuordbaren Stich, der für mich käsig und fehlerhaft wirkt. Er überdeckt zudem weiter Aromen. Unrund. 10/6/7/7//7 rozsoma (1140) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - APR 9, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Easy drinkable, unfiltered refreshing helles. Nice light amber colour, fruity aroma. envane (586) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Cloudy yellow with a white head. Odd smoky, yeasty aroma. Taste is malty, yeast, slight smoke with a dry spicy wood finish. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 24, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Cloudy, yellow-golden with a white head. Bready nose. Some sweet breadiness nicely balanced by spicy hops, ending quite dry. Well- made. MartinT (10102) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2011
My Bottom Line :
crossovert (14006) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2011
Bananas(?!), hay and herbal hops coalesce in this sugary, fruity unfiltered lager.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sticky sheet of foam covers the veiled blond.
-This sure tastes like the yeast was given conditions to express itself moreso than in most lagers.
-Hops are subtle but present throughout.
-This is a pleasant pint, but it tends to get sweeter than average as you reach the bottom. It is not a süffig brew.
On tap at the brewpub.
Fresh at the brewpub, it is a highly carbonated, unfiltered, natural brew that is mighty tasty. Nickls (2608) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAR 21, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Two fingers of white frothy head; hazy dark sunflower hue. Lots of grass and hay in the aroma with a touch of grain. Little citric bite in the flavor, light fruitiness, eh. Medium body with lively carbonation. Touch messy like the other brew I had there, but not terrible. yespr (48084) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2010
From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a small, creamy and white head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight yeasty. Sweet malty, yeasty fruity and somewhat estery too. Mild fruity finish. Lasting slight yeasty impression. rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 19, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 At Unionsbräu in Munich. I don’t think I have smelled (unique yeast?) a beer quite like this other than the Unionsbräu Maibock, earthy, apple-y,floral-y . . .I liked it but it has an unusual taste/aroma that may disagree with others but others may love. Cloudy and has a bit of a cider taste. Worth trying if in Munich as it is a little different. Serving: Tap Oakes (19010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 19, 2009
Hazy tan-straw with a thick head. Quite rustic on the nose. Cidery, rustic palate...malts fade to yeasty notes and light diacetyl with hints of cider. Not as bad as that sounds, but it’s definitely on the wrong side of rustic.
