2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 33cl. Quite a lot of diacetyl in the nose. Moderate bitterness. Caramel throughout. Buttery. Didn’t enjoy this beer all that much.
Bottle, Drinks of the World Geneva. Amber coloured, white foam. Quite a malty IPA, decent sweet caramel malty base, traditional C hop bitterness with pine and a bit of grapefruit. Medium bitterness. Hints of esters in there, a tiny bit yeasty. Not gamechanging but perfectly pleasant. bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - SEP 29, 2016
33cl bb12/2016, vielen Dank lupuLust. - Thick orange-amber pour with nice white dense cap. Aroma is reticent, mainly distant dried orange rinds, apricot peel maybe and a whiff of margerine. Although the label mentions hops (CH), the first sip reveals a very typical US Cascade (CH?) aroma (Liberty Ale) on thicker caramalts, making for a chewier mouthfeel, then piney and spicy, wet hay underneath. Quite malty, UK style, rougher sweet alcohol and apricot Obstler upon swallowing. caribou43 (1182) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - JUN 18, 2016
I bought this bottle at beer of the world in Geneva. I drank it on the train, going to Biel. After a long day of work, it is a nice one, regular and well balanced IPA. At the nose, the smell is with hop. At the tongue, the taste is bitter, a bit citrus, a bit herbal and the final is bitter and a little watery, malt. It is a nice one. mreogh (2) - Neuchâtel, SWITZERLAND - FEB 8, 2016 does not count

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy orange to amber color forming a solid off white head. Good persistence leaving lots of soapy lacings in the glass. Very malty and fruity nose. Strong caramel malts and citrus hops. Grapefruit. Slightly sweet taste. Caramel malts and citrus hops. Good balanced hops bitterness. Citrus hops profile with hints of resin. Medium body. Average carbonation. Good drinkability. Nice swiss IPA. Beerhunter111 (22442) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2015
17Beer (415) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 30, 2015

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2015 pours hazy amber with an off-white head and some lacing. nose: hops, caramel, stale hay, damp dishrag. didn’t like the aroma very much. mouthfeel is much better. dried fruit, citrus, caramel. bittersweet finish. King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - APR 18, 2015
Tested under train circumstances (i.e. without glass), so I can’t tell much about the appearance, but the bottle looks nice. The smell is earthy-flowery hoppy. The taste is actually a nice balance from a herbal hop bitterness and a malty body. Lively carbonation with a bitter slight tart and dry aftertaste. Surprisingly good beer.
