McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, - JAN 31, 2013
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Deep golden colour with steady head. Taste of mild hops, thyme, low malt, green pineapple and flowers, Easy to drink and quite smooth-bodied. Nice one but not that special.

rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - DEC 16, 2016
pours yellow with white fluffy head, the aroma is grass, yeast. The flavor is grassy, a little citrus, light caramel, and about it. Overall a very generic beer, the body is light and dry with little aftertaste, it is a refreshing drink.

3.2
JStax (6462) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 13, 2016
500 ml can poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a clear yellow with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma is grassy and lemony with notes of perfume and wet metal. The taste is grainy and sweet. Dry and moderately bitter finish. Medium body and medium carbonation.

3.2
Ritzn (1380) - GERMANY - DEC 13, 2016
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is normal helles stuff, some wheat and apricots. Taste is harsh noble hop bitterness without being aggressive. Smooth and easy to drink. Not bad.

3.2
PorterPounder (7961) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2016
Tallahassee, Fl - Costco - half litre can - can #16 of the German Advent Calendar 24 pak. Good solid Helles, light golden appearance, decent sized head - light lacing. Sweet, candy like aroma, very pleasant. Flavor has elements of mown grass, bread and sour apples. Goes down smoooth. Refreshing.

2.9
bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 27, 2016
Can from an Egerer Advent pack from the Woodland CostCo. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of fruity/spicy hop and bread - fairly strong in total, but not sure any one thing stands out. Med minus body. Flavor is fruit/bread with arguably a mild touch of spice as the beer drains away. Not wholly dry; not very bitter. Drinkable. These "common" helles beers from Egerer are teaching me to tolerate things that are relatively mild in flavor.

2.7
bulldogops (2490) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 23, 2016
Rating #2216 - 2015.12.03 - Can #3 in the 2015 BeerAdvent Calendar for Costco. Clear, pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fizzes away quickly. Aroma is sweet malts, grains. Taste is mild floral hops, more sweet malts, and quite grainy on the finish, which is dry, but crisp. Mouthfeel is bubbly, but satisfying.
