Cask conditioned at The Beer Emporium, Bristol. Very dark brown with cream head. Smooth and really quite fruity stout, there are chocolate roasted malts with a hint of liquorice then a plummy fruitiness. Reasonable palate, some sweetness. Decent. Holmen1 (5843) - Stavanger, NORWAY - AUG 27, 2015

Shared 500 ml bottle, bought in Cardiff. ABV is 4.9%. Very dark brown to back colour, moderate beige head. Nice roasty aroma and flavour, notes of coffee and liquorice, a straight-forward stout I could drink a lot of.

Svart kropp med lavt tett lysebrunt skum. Innbydende røstede karamell og knekk blant duftene. Myk å drikke. Medium fylde. Røstede noter og forsiktig syrlighet i smakene. god ettersmak. Bottle. Black with a medium head that quickly dissipate. Dry with traces of chocolate and coffee. A way above average stout that is pretty impressive. Essex (51) - Cardiff, WALES - JAN 7, 2013
Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a dark black colour with a short lived white head.
Smells very dark and burnt from the malts.
Tastes similar, watery but a dark burnt malty taste, with a vague hop bitterness on the finish. Fairly messy too.
Overall a decent quaffable, but slightly messy.
