pours hazy straw yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is definite citrus, specifically lemon. Taste is clean and citrusy at first, then the hop bitterness kicks in and lingers pleasantly. Not overpoweringly bitter. Just enough. They were going for a session IPA, and I think they hit the mark. Good beer!
12floz bottle (BBD: 07.2017) poured into a pint glass. Thin foam tops a light golden body that gives off an aroma very characteristic sticky cannabis. Palate is light-medium in body and provides a just right amount of earthy evergreen hoppiness. A solid sessionable hoppy ale. sawbuck (724) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2017

At Roots. Powerful hops makes this a bit of a hoppy only beer, since the malt is toned back to make it a session beer.Serving: Tap rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAR 19, 2016
on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light amber color, white head that settles to a full cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit, and light hops. Taste matches aroma - Malt and fruit adds edgy carbonation on the swallow, then assertive pine hops that can’t hold on to the end, yielding to the malt well before the last. A really solid session brew. tmoreau (4300) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2015
12 oz. bottle poured to a small Czech-pils glass at home, showing a slightly hazed, light gold color, with frothy, soft white head foam that reduced to a persistent, bubbly layer, and left some patchy lacing on the glass. The nose was grass & greenery, ripe pit fruit, a combination of pineapple & mandarin orange, and some berry sweetness. The taste exposed additional citrus as grapefruit to the fore mentioned esters, and a moderate, earthy/dusty, rind & resin bitterness that lingered. Light bodied, with decent carbonation, some dryness joined the bitterness for the finish. Fair enough drinkability. Finhead (1742) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - NOV 3, 2015
Cloudy, yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has light citrus and pine notes. It has a light, oily body with lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a slightly dry finish. JK (6095) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2015
GABF 2015. Clear gold color and a white head on top. Flavor is mostly hops, a little malt, light palate but very drinkable. No complaints, just a simple session beer.
