COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This crisp golden ale is built on the foundation of delicate light malts. This allows us to showcase some of the most interesting and effervescent American hops in a way we have never before done. We saved over 75% of the hops used in this recipe to add after the batch was boiled, allowing the distinct fragrance of grapefruit, apricot and pine to be preserved as much as possible in the finished beer. With a crisp, but subtle bitterness, a refreshingly light malt character, and a 4.5 ABV, this is the perfect warm weather beverage for those who think flavor is just as important as refreshment.

pours hazy straw yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is definite citrus, specifically lemon. Taste is clean and citrusy at first, then the hop bitterness kicks in and lingers pleasantly. Not overpoweringly bitter. Just enough. They were going for a session IPA, and I think they hit the mark. Good beer!

Appearance: Pale medium golden. Hazy. Thin ring of white bubbles. Nose: A little grainy and funky with good amounts of citrus. A little caramel. Taste: Citrusy light and hoppy session. lighter caramel sweetness. Body: medium to lighter with good carbonation. Parting thoughts: A nice little session souvenir from my Indianapolis road trip.

Rating #2542 - 2016.05.05 - Sample at BrewExpo at CBC in Philly. Clear golden pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, piney citrusy, notes. Taste is more of the same, zesty hops and some mild juiciness dominating the flavour. Finish is dry, but balanced and satisfying. Delicious.

12floz bottle (BBD: 07.2017) poured into a pint glass. Thin foam tops a light golden body that gives off an aroma very characteristic sticky cannabis. Palate is light-medium in body and provides a just right amount of earthy evergreen hoppiness. A solid sessionable hoppy ale.

At Roots. Powerful hops makes this a bit of a hoppy only beer, since the malt is toned back to make it a session beer.Serving: Tap

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Hazy light amber color, white head that settles to a full cover, sheets of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit, and light hops. Taste matches aroma - Malt and fruit adds edgy carbonation on the swallow, then assertive pine hops that can’t hold on to the end, yielding to the malt well before the last. A really solid session brew.
