Bottle at Jim and Brian’s house. Thanks! Poured into a tulip. Nice golden-orange color with haze. Decent white head and lacing. Strong hops floral scents with musty hops as well. Taste was citrus, floral and balanced caramel with the malts. Bitter finish. Medium body. Better than I expected. SlamDuncan (15) - Indiana, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Slight hop aroma. Surprisingly full palate feel. Good malt hop balance with a spicy hop flavor, and a pleasant finish. Not a bad beer. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Super strong IPA at World Beer Fest Cleveland. Aroma of grapefruit. Appearance is dark gold with tan head. Super hoppy and awesome. Keir (183) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Floral nose and taste. Bitter finish. Sweet and a bit oily. Not bad, but it is about five months old. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAY 27, 2013

Bomber. Pours a deep amber orange, unfiltered. Ample frothy white biscuity head. Aroma is a combo of citrus, pine and grassy notes. Taste is grapefruit and other ripe citrus notes. Bitter finish. A pleasant Imperial IPA that hides the ABV well. BeerFlavoredBeer (254) - New Hampshire, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Note: my bottle is of indeterminate age.
Thanks to Brigadier for sending this one to me. Presents itself well, great color, bountiful foam. Aroma is subdued, very mild and indistinct west-coast American hops notes. Flavor is interesting - like the first few notes of a watermelon jolly rancher, minus the finish and the sweetness. It’s a fleeting chemical tropical fruit flavor followed by immediate piney bitterness. Mild malt profile into a relatively simple single-note hoppy finish with a little bit of a vegetal edge to it. Like the aftertaste of steamed asparagus. Not great, unfortunately. JoshCone (2) - - MAY 9, 2013 does not count
Not too bad. Good aroma and appearance. Bitterness was pretty good but I’ve had better. Decent for the price paid at a bar, which was $2.75 per pint. jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of resiny pine and grapefruit with a lightly toasted caramel background. The taste was of light caramel sweetness with lots of juicy piny hop flavor and good bitter balance before a drier, citrusy bittersweet finish. Very nice. On draft at Brothers in South Bend IN. Pours a hazy amber with a frothy white head. Feint hop aroma. Flavor much more intriguing with grapefruit and some sweet pineapple. Bitter finish.
