Average sized head of beige bubbles, mostly lasting. Some lacing. Amber colored body. Heavy aromas of toasted malt. Some light floral hops and earthy yeast. Some toffee in the background. Moderately sweet and bitter start. Caramel noted in the middle with a rather dry finish. Soft feel. Nothing overly exciting, but the alcohol is quite well hidden. 6/10

Pours murky copper with a thick white head. Initial soft Pine earthy hops that fades to a dry pine taste on the roof of your mouth. The pine continues when you breathe in.

Super hoppy, citruscy and slightly boozy. Smells like grapefruit and hoops. Pours copper with a thin white head. Had out of a can at home. scarpin (68) - Moorhead, Minnesota, USA - JAN 24, 2015
Cerveja IPA espetáculo. Melhor IPA que ja tomei. Deixa um amargor suave no final. Cerveja muito premiada. EamonTheGreat (157) - USA - JUL 27, 2014
On draft at the Upland Brewery. This is much better that their regular Dragon Fly IPA. Maybe because it was super fresh and on draft. The aroma is strong in hop character with slight citrus and pine notes. Pours hazy amber with a medium white head and good lacing. This has a lot more depth of character that the original IPA. The hop malt balance is great. Quite bitter, but not overwhelming. One of the best Upland beers that isn't a sour.

11 July 2014, bottle. Orange, clear. Nose is alcohol, dry grass, maybe even cinnamon. Med body and almost flat. Pink grapefruit, sweet, raisin malt. Rich, full bodies ipa with nice malt presence. Great! edgallow (4362) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 5, 2014

Nice piney aroma. Clear, Copper, amber color. Well balanced IPA with a smooth finish. alexsdad06 (10639) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2014
22 oz bottle from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor are skewed toward the malts; caramel and lightly toasted, sweeter orange citrus, honey, very little bitterness at any poin. I definitely want to see more bittering hops in a DIPA. Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2014
22oz bottle 4/13/14 (Crown Liquors #15-Fishers)-51° in Shaker-Pours a clear light to medium amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops and slight malt. Taste of the same. This lighter bodied double ipa has potential but is not there.
