The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Floral, ctirus, and honey in the aroma; dull pale amber color with a fleeting off-white head; some almond and caramel maltiness, very floral (almost perfumy), some melon-like fruitiness, and a raw bitterness in the finish taht I just dont like; medium body, smooth; okay, not great; Ive never really cared for this beer... the hop flavor profile is okay, but the bitterness flavor just isnt good and seems incongruous with the flavors of the beer.

Pours slightly hazy amber with a decent buff head. Aroma is not strong, but has a nice come-hither resiny hoppy note. Hops are noticeably bolder in the flavor, pulling resin, citrus and malty tones in their wake for a decent if unremarkable IPA taste. Mouthfeel has decent body and fizz, leaving a hoppy if typical finish. A good party brew.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. The Dragonfly IPA pours a partly cloudy copper with a thick creamy beige head that lasts throughout the duration of the beer. The aroma is floral and citrus with caramel although mild. The flavor is floral and citrus with caramel as well with the floral hanging on in the aftertaste. Overall this is a decent beer.

At Yard house. Decent all around IPA. Not a hophead dream but enough to get the job done and be accessible to non-IPA lovers. Serving: Tap

Im traveling in Indiana, and enjoying local beers. This one is from a bottle, hazy orange yellow pour with a small head. Aroma is citrus and fruit, with some caramel in there, too. Taste is the same. Not much sweetness, rather dry. Slick mouthfeel, as it should be. Gentle carbonation.

Best by April 2015.
Glass: New Belgium globe glass.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a short foamy head that quickly dissipates to a soft coating.
Aroma: Bready caramel malts with light perfume hop aromas with citrus also noted. Mild and inoffensive.
Taste: Taste follows the aroma, malt forward with bready and caramel malts. Mild floral hop bitterness with grapefruit and oranges noted.
Palate: Medium bodied, mildly carbonated.
Overall: A pretty basic IPA. Sits entry level really, but for the price I cant really complain.
