Tap at the brewpub...light orange pour with a creamy head. Very fragrant fresh hop nose leads to a very refreshing and easy drinking liquid with a smooth mouthfeel. The hops don’t get any fresher and tastier than this. Finishes clean, crisp, and dry. Awesome. antzman (316) - Clarksville, Indiana, USA - NOV 1, 2013
I’m really surprised by the low overall rating of this beer. It is one of the better offering from Upland. The use of Citra hops puts this beer over the top with a great citrusy flavor. Medium bodied, with a clean slightly bitter finish. Hartung32 (252) - Indiana, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Very nice fresh hopped ale. Not sure how I haven't had it since it's from a brewery I'm so familiar with. This will become a Fall staple for me.

Really good job this year upland. Nose is all citra, body isn't too light or rich, and the finish is nicely bitter.

Talking to the people at Upland it sounds like this might very well become an annual release. I hope so because it is right up there with Double Dragonfly and Teddy Bear Kisses as a fair priced local option. Grab it while it is still fresh for a phenomenal seasonal.
Aroma / Appearance - The amber brown base hangs in the glass. Lively and vibrant carbonation sparkles like a soft drink as it tries to escape the thick eggshell head. Bright piney hops, orange glaze, and carrots topped with brown sugar ground this in the autumn months.
Flavor / Palate - Sweet pine residue, grapefruit, and citrus linger sip after sip. The first impression is not much but it does not take long for the richness to hang around like a morning fog. The bitterness at the end is not strong enough to be harsh but definitely is memorable. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I’ll be getting more if I can find bottles.
Aroma: Very vibrant grapefruit hop core with edges of mango; the malt character is actually detectable with cereal. Appearance: Mostly clear light copper body with a patch of creamy tan head. Flavor: Fairly fruity up front with grapefruit still dominant; some light/moderate bitterness comes in closer to the finish. The cereal/toast malts are unmistakably in there, and provide a slightly sweet respite from the bitterness. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: My first beer in nearly two weeks and worth the wait. Quite nice indeed. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Bottle. Copper/gold pour, big white head, good retention/some lace. Aroma of citrus/pine hops, caramel, toast. Taste is moderately bitter, orange peel, resin, some caramel malt sweetness, light toast. Palate is drier, soft, oily, bitter finish. Very nice. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Very nice IPA. Light orange, clear, with a thin white head. Potent and very resinous. Hints of grapefruit at the end. seymour (2045) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Tasted on tap at ElijahP’s in Alton, Il in a snifter glass. It poured a mostly-clear orange amber colour with nice white foam, lasting with lace. Extremely fresh hop aromas and flavours, non-deScript grainbill underneath but malty enough to support this hops-forward brew. Grapefruit, sweet-citrus, lemongrass, dank resin, a little musky in a good way, hint of tropical fruit, Fruit Loops cereal, Juicy Fruit chewing gum. Tangy. Light body, fuller than expected mouthfeel, long-lasting hoppy aftertastes. Great stuff. Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. A strong skunky hop aroma, citrusy, earthy, pine. A well balanced whole hopped ale. Some astringency. A tasty enough beer.
