COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Uplandís Lilí Sebastian ESB (Extra Special Bitter) is an example of a traditional English-style pub beer. With a solid malty backbone, this copper colored brew finishes every sip with East Kent Golding and Fuggle hop character. Just like the deceased miniature horse it is named for, the Upland ESB races through ones palate as swiftly as Lilí Sebastian would gallop, if only there had been a unusually tiny jockey to drive him.

Draft sample at IBGWF 2013. Poured clear dark amber hue with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate aroma of floral hops and malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft brew.

Bottle. Buttery toffee malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Slightly sweet toffee malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Not bad - an easy drinker.

Growler. Earthy hops and malt aroma. Copper with a moderate tan head. Taste same as aroma, earthy hops and nondescript malt flavor. Light to medium body, soft carbonation.
