Our American pale ale is a crisp, hoppy beer filled with fruity overtones and dash of sweet malt flavor. American hops lend this beer a citrus-like taste that is very refreshing.

There is a nice hop flavor with a background off musty flavor. If the aroma was there this would be awesome for the abv... I probably have a bad batch. Thin lasting head. Taste is nice citra fruity hop. Very nice mouthfeel for 5%. A very nice beer (if you have a cold and cant smell).

12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Slightly hazy yellow color with mall white head that vanished slowly. Nose and flavor of a traditional APA, some bread malt, lemon, light grassy and fruity hops in the finish. Very light and easy to drink.

Bottle from Bloomingfoods, Bloomington (among many other places over the years). Not quite as solid as Helios in my opinion, this one always had a raw homebrew kind of character to it. Dry, brashly citric, but with a slight overdose of sweet malts here and there depending on the batch. Crisp and refreshing wins the day, though.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours crystalline light copper with soapy white head. The aroma is fruity citrus with some slight butteriness and a touch of caramel. The flavor is hop bitterness with some buttered toast. A strong toastiness develops fairly quickly. Theres a little bit of an orange note with some bitter zest.

Golden amber in color with a generous white head and good lacing. Light citrus hops and caramel malt in the aroma. Medium carbonation and light in body. A dry caramel malt flavor with a strong floral and grassy bitterness on the end. Not for my palate, but a well-crafted beer.

Pours a clear glowing orange/amber with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, peach, mango, papaya, fruit salad. Flavor of sweet juicy cocktail fruits, toffee, doughy, cotton candy, medium sweetness and light bitterness. Fairly drinkable. Medium/light bodied with nice even feeling mouthful, smooth sizzling uniform carbonation, not sticky at all.

Draft at tap room. Pours amber, and lighter in color than their house amber...weird. Aroma of fruity ale esters and Cascade hops. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of caramel with some notes of citrus, countered by a peppery bitterness. Just a tad thin on the finish.
