Bottle at Level 42, from a trade with the Bald Wizzard - cheers Joe, 09/06/16. Murky orange with a moderate off white swirl that soon collapses. Nose is mellow peach, light smoked straw, light wood must, funk, shades of vanilla. Taste comprises more mellow peach, soft fleshy fruits, light mango pulp, tangy citrics, light funk. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light acidic bite and gentle puckering in the close. Decent peach affair but no great.

Scopey (13330) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2016
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, ripe, sour peach, apricot skin, funk, dirt, must, lactic tang and earth. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, sherbet, vanilla, toasted coconut, good mouth - pucker, peach, apricot and candy with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice.

Tap...the aroma of fresh sweet juicy peaches is a great counter to the sour funk of the beer. That balance between the sweet fruit and acidic funk makes this very interesting brew to savor and contemplate. Outstanding.

Bottle courtesy of Milsem. Pours hazy yellow with a small frothy white head that doesnt leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and tiny funky with crackers, lemon juice, plums, canned peaches, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is heavy sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, heavy tart, mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, peaches, apricots, sour apples, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Very heavy on the peaches and apricots which is nice but this is just too damn sour.

750ml bottle at home. This one didnt entirely do it for me -- it came across as too puckeringly sour, pushing almost into acetic territory. The peach flavor was good, though, and tasted fresh and natural. I just wish it was powerful enough to mellow out the harshness of the sour.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle, 2/3/2015 batch A15 poured into a snifter. Aroma is nice peach, medium body, low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is really nice tart peach. Back to back with farm to face, prefer this. This is fantastic.

750 bottle, wonderful peach and funky barnyard aroma. Taste tart but not too sour, perfectly balanced with the wordy and tart pucker and p achy nose. Absolutely fantastic.

*Old rating. Bottled 10/12/10. Many thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing! The beer starts sourish and fruity. Nice peach there, hints of sourness. Fresh but not too deep or sourish. Great fresh and sourish aftertaste, but far away from its Belgium originals.
