COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(Previous labeled Peach Lambic). We first began experimenting with Belgian-style ales in 2006, and fresh, whole peaches were selected as one of the first fruits to add to the sour beer that we had fermented for over eight months in white oak barrels. We use 7,000 pounds of fresh Indiana peaches from Huber’s Orchard and Winery in Starlight, Indiana, destoning the peach pits by hand before adding to the barrels. Peach is a fruited ale with gold and straw colors that shine upon pouring, and zesty amounts of carbonation. Fresh peach aromas meld with floral and wine-like notes. Wonderful peach flavors follow in the taste, accompanied by refreshing tartness with a dry finish and mouth-watering tanginess.

Sample at Aficionado’s during the "Big Bad Bottle Share" on 02/10/2017. Hazy orange color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of funky peach, yeast and malt. Light to medium body with a sweet-tart peach character and notes of funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is fruity with a peach and lemon aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of a limping but not too distressed marmot in Deanso’s garage. Very hazy orange with a ring white head. Aroma is lactic, damp, tart peach and mineral notes. Flavour is heavy sour (though not the worst burn straight through your body and give you a second asshole like Upland "lambics" can be). Medium bodied with a lactic burn and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at Dean’s last Stand. No head. Very hazy light amber pour. Sour with some peach.

Draft at the source. Hazy glowing gold, no head. Aroma of poopy overripe fruit, herbs, and mildew (like the stink of my clothes when they’ve been left damp in the basement). That aspect is really, really offputting to me, because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left the house and gotten an hour into my work day before I realize that my shirt stinks and I have no way out except to cope with the stench and avoid other humans. Herbal, sweet-tart, tannic (like a light fruity tea). Lasting sweetened cereal finish. Light body, lively carbonation. Overall: I can’t get into this, but only because of the stink.

Level 42 Bottle share. Thanks to Coleeen. Very hazy gold beer, some lonely cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Light coconut, a little coconut cream. Sour peach with a dose of lemon. Mild acid. Generic fruits. Light finish. Coconut linger. Not bad. Like the coconut, not sure it was intended though!

Bottle shared on Level 42, 09/06/2016. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A clouded dark orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is funky horsey sour, coconut, lemon. Flavour is composed of coconut, caramac bar, sour peach and pineapple. Palate is milky, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice funky sour character.
